We spent a warm and sunny week here in mid October and had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Peasland Suite which has its own private entrance, a large comfy bed and a mini kitchen with a microwave, kettle and sink - that made DIY dinners in the evening a very useful option for us. We were given a...

Spent a lovely night at Crake Trees Manor. We were late to arrive and owners were going out, but they waited for us to arrive to run through things. We stayed in michelbank room, which has the most comfortable bed and lovely décor. There were two rooms in our area but we were the only occupants, so could not believe...

We spent a night in the delightful shepherds hut and would highly recommend this to everyone. Friendly greeting as we arrived with lots of helpful tips as to what to do. A night by candle light was very romantic. Other facilities excellent and breakfast brought to the hut in the morning. Local pub excellent also.

Stayed in Shepherds hut for one night. Beautifully restored hut with romantic interior & comfy bed. Lovely scenery & friendly hosts. Lovely breakfast basket delivered to hut in morning by Ruth but there's also the option of a full English in side the farmhouse for an extra charge. Would love to visit again!

The hut itself was very cosy especially when we lit the log burner each night:), first morning we had the continental breakfast in the hut and it was lovely, hot croissants and fruit and yogurt, 2nd morning paid for the cooked breakfast in the farmhouse...

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Crakes Tree Manor, set in farmland, it is a peaceful tranquil oasis, away from the usual Cumbrian tourist crowds. The Suite, set in the upper floor of a separate building near the farmhouse was large but cosy and comfortable, well equipped with a mini kitchen including a very welcome full sized fridge to...

Crake Trees Manor is a beautiful barn conversion in a wonderful location. The décor in the two rooms we booked was very tastefully decorated and much better than we expected. Our host, Ruth, was a charming person giving great advice on where to go, where to eat and tips on the numerous walks around the Manor. The four of us...

We stayed for 2 nights in The Shepherd's Hut and loved every minute of it! Unfortunately the weather wasn't great but that didn't detract from the beautiful surroundings at Crake Trees Manor. The farmhouse is up a typical farm/country road - probably wouldn't be great for supercars but as we unfortunately don't drive one of those access was fine! We...
