As I write this it's difficult to pin what makes this place so grand. Its a little off the beaten path from Doolin but not much. Truth is I loved the drive especially on the N67 and R477. Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher are...More
A lovely property and very good food, including breakfast. Sadly, it was rainy when we were there, so we couldn't see a thing despite the place being well-located and prime for excellent views. The rooms are dated and in need of updating, and ours (Lady...More

Dear Deanna ,
Thank you for your review.
I am truly sorry about the shower in your room. As your room which was an upgrade dates back to 1840,I regret to inform you that it is law in Ireland that listed buildings cannot be changed...More
Beautiful views, very accommodating staff. Dinner here was excellent! There is a quaint onsite pub and plenty of seating in the living room in the event you are not a pub type. Be sure to keep the windows open in your room for the great...More

There are taxis in town but not many, the pubs in town are great but the restaurant in the hotel is one of the best in the area. Pub in the hotel is VERY quiet and you'll find you're often the only one there, but it's very quaint and the service is good. No live music in the hotel pub.
The actual town has a few really good pubs, and it's the centre of music so you'll find it all good fun. Recommend O'Connor's and McGann's (locals' favourites).
