We stayed at the hostel for 5 nights and had such a good time. The hostel is cosy and comfortable, good beds, good shower etc. Breakfast is included which was great. But the wonderful thing was Carmel and Mattie's hospitality. They are the most amazingly kind and welcoming people. You should definitely stay here!

I spent a fabulous time in Doolin in the Rainbow Hostel! There is so much to see around; Doolin itself with the pier and the Coast there, the Cliffs, the Burren etc. And this hostel is the ideal base to visit them all. Mattie and Carmel, the owners, were very friendly and helpful, helping me making the most of my...

Excellent condition and very clean, has a great common area, each dorm room has its own bathroom. The owners are very helpful. This is an ideal location to stay to see the Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher, the Burren etc. I...

I had a wonderful stay at the rainbow, the owners are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are spotlessly clean and welcoming, and they serve a full, delicious breakfast every morning, included in the cost! It's near the end of Doolin, but has great access to local pubs and shops, as well as the pier where you can take ferries...

It's the second time now I stayed in This Hostel and I really enjoy it. Bedrooms, kitchen and living room are always very clean, and so welcoming. You will always meet nice people to chat around too. Big thanks to Carmen who has been waiting quite late last Wednesday to check us in. Again, I'll be coming back.

I can only agree with all the other 5 star reviews! Thank you Mattie & Carmel for a pleasant stay! I particularly enjoyed Mattie's field trip and slide show! Great to get advice and information from someone who knows the area so well! The location of the Rainbow couldn't be better - right next door to McDermott's pub with excellent...
