I booked a room for Oct 2015, the money was taken from me in advance, they cancelled the booking at the last minute for reason of burst pipe causing me huge inconvenience mid-tour. Sine then I have been trying for 10 weeks to no avail to get my money back !!!!!!!

The twisting roads and hidden turns lead to a narrow road that has an end; it's the large gates that mark the way in. Guided in by a welcoming face, the sky is so silent and dark that only the house can be seen. As I cross the threshold of the solid front door I am greeted by the warmth...

Just returned from Brook House after an amazing weekend with my husband and we had such an amazing time. The B&B is surrounded by idyllic picturesque moors which we were lucky to see covered in snow. The accommodation itself is decorated to good taste and it is a good value for money. The owners Chris and Christa are extremely friendly...

Very friendly hosts with lots of local knowledge of the area and a wealth of information about the Bronte family. Lots to see and do in this area of outstanding beauty! Lots of choice for breakfast, but you have not lived if you do not try their full cooked English breakfast made from locally sourced produce!

The rooms themselves are lovely, with well thought out decor theme. The couple who own the bed and breakfast are welcoming and very friendly. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with eggs benedict and eggs royale on the menu, served with homemade hollandaise and locally sourced, organic ingredients. This is a very romatic place which would be ideal for couples (although...

Quiet, relaxing, comfortable and beautiful countryside location. The most delicious breakfast prepared with local produce. The hosts were the best. So knowledgeable about the Yorkshire area which is what we were looking for. They made our stay really worthwhile. Definitely 5 star quality.

When you book a night at a b&b you never know what's truly coming, sometimes it's very ordinary.... This was truly extraordinary! We were warmly welcomed by Chris, immediately having an easy rapport. Our room surpassed expectations in facilities and comfort. We were offered and given so much information, from both hosts, interesting and intelligent conversation to the point we...

Just in case Chris and Christa don't know they couldn'to do more to create a perfect stay, I'd like to second all the other amazing and well deserved reviews they have received. Aside from providing first class accommodation in a beautiful setting , it is the two hosts which make this such an enjoyable experience. Warmth, great service and good...
