We came here in October- November 2023 looking for a comfortable cabin in peaceful surroundings but found so much more. Customer service is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for the team. Everywhere is beautifully maintained and efficiently managed. Each cabin has its own hot tub and fire pit, verandah and outdoor seating, many overlooking the river. We saw ķingfishers several times, goldcrest, grey wagtails, flocks of long-tailed tits in the willow right beside us, woodpeckers, nuthatch, jays, buzzards, red kites..... the list is endless. Squirrels skip about under mature trees and we saw dragonflies, butterflies and masses of ladybirds.
Inside the studio cabins, there's underfloor heating, beautiful stylish decor, a wet room, kitchen area, tv, everything you need for a self catering getaway. Cabins are spaced out and angled to afford privacy and screened parking areas are close by.
Dogs are welcome and there's space for ball games off the lead. For us, this was a perfect combination.

I stayed at Riverside Cabins for 3 nights with my husband and 9 year old twins to celebrate my birthday! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Di who was absolutely lovely! She showed us to our cabin which was called Grumbles and set back from the river amoungst the trees on stilts with a spacious decked area and a private hot tub. Di transported our luggage on a golf buggy to the cabin for us as the path way up was slightly steep. She gave us a tour inside the cabin which was gorgeous and explained everything we needed to know.
The cabin was brand new and was pristine and very clean, with lovely decor, beautiful soft furnishings, cushions and throws. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need eg air fryer, filter kettle, coffee machine and dishwasher.
The location of the cabins is tranquil and calm, alongside the pretty River Perry. Kayaks and paddle boards along with lifejackets were available to us at no extra cost to use on the river which we thought was a lovely touch.
One day we drove a short distance to Ness Cliffe Country Park and walked for 2hours through woodland with some spectacular views. Our private hot tub was a real luxury to sooth aching muscles afterwards!!
The children loved the hot tub and walking around the site exploring and playing in some hammocks that were hanging on a few of the trees. There was a large grassy area with football goals and a football provided. We did make a suggestion to have a children's play area too like a treehouse or climbing frame and swings, that kind of thing, which was welcomed by the owner Anthony, who was very open to guest feedback.
We met the owner Anthony a few times during our stay. He was so very welcoming and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble at all. He came by to ask if we needed anything and to make sure we were happy. We asked for a few more kitchen utensils which were delivered promptly. All the staff we came into contact with were friendly and chatty, we really felt at home.
Anthony and his team are clearly proud of this little gem of a place, and are tirelessly working hard to create a wonderful environment for guests to escape to! We loved our experience there and could have easily stayed a week, we really didn't want to leave and will definitely be returning for another visit. We highly recommend this place for a break away to enjoy nature and the great outdoors!!

Thank you for the lovely feedback, Sarah, on your recent stay. Grumbles is definitely one of our favourite cabins, and you have beautifully articulated what we are all trying to create and achieve at Riverside Cabins, thank you. You're feedback will be appreciated by the entire team, especially Di, who is one of the foundation that this business is built upon. It's also nice that you appreciate all the thought that has gone into outfitting all the cabins and the site with modern amenities, hot tubs, and water-sports equipment etc. Our next project will be a games area! Thank you, because feedback like this makes all the effort worthwhile! From all the team at Riverside Cabins 🍷

Had a wonderfully chilled weekend with the girls at Riverside. Fabulous location, gorgeous fully equipped lodge with private hot tub gave us a great place to unwind, have some great fun and enjoy the outdoor life. We loved the new outdoor kitchen area with roaring fire and fantastic new yoga studio too. Anthony the team and his four legged pals make everyone feel very welcome and ensure that the site is kept spotless for all to enjoy. It's a real find and a wonderfully unique spot. We'll definately be back, maybe with the guys next time! :-)

Another fantastic stay at Riverside Cabins.
Six of us stayed in the cabin named Gloria which is of ample size for up to six people with everything on hand for a great stay.
I didn’t bother to use the wifi as I wanted a digital detox but those that used it said it was great.
The weather was on our side so we were able to make use of the free paddle boards and kayaks which are a nice touch.
No one seems to mention the quarry, it’s small but mighty and has a great seated viewing point looking up the river. Definitely worth a stroll up to.
The hot tub is great and well looked after.
We weren’t able to use the smokehouse as it was already booked out but this is a great new facility and one we would definitely look to book next time.
I’ve visited Centre Parcs many of times and although Riverside Cabins lacks an indoor pool, it more than makes up for it with a natural plunge pool, quality, value for money and so much more personal space.
I couldn’t recommend the place enough, two nights is not long enough.
“This is the life” ;)

What an amazing place!! As a family it has everything you require for a getaway. You can jump in and out of your own hot tub, take walks in the local area, relax in your accommodation or just make the most of the amazing location. We have been a few times before and have always found Anthony and his staff really welcoming and accommodating.
The cabins are of a very high quality and both of my sons love staying in them. The WiFi is fine, which is always useful!!
Definitely will be back and am recommending 'Riverside cabins' to everyone!!

Would and do highly recommend Riverside cabins for a family or friends get away. We have been a number of times and will definitely be going back.
The location is secluded and beautiful, the cabins are very comfortable and well kitted out, the river is accessible and a great family friendly level and now there is the new covered outdoor kitchen for larger parties, which was an incredible resource in the British rainy weather. Whilst we do not have dogs, some in our party did, and it meant a lot that they are so welcomed on the site and in the cabins.
The team looking after the site and the host are very friendly and helpful.

I spent several weeks researching different locations to hold my husband's surprise 50th birthday weekend and so happy I made the decision to book Riverside Cabins. A big thank you to Amy for all her help with my booking and answering all my emails (there were several). On the first day, Anthony not only gave me advice on where best to set up the surprise birthday meal but also kindly offered his team to help me move and set up all the tables and chairs. The cabins are all spacious, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and have every kitchen gadget you could possibly need. I hired the smoke house for the weekend, where we cooked dinner and breakfast each day . The kids thoroughly enjoyed using the panel boards and kayaks on the river, and everyone really enjoyed the hot tubs too. I used the quarry to project a birthday video tribute (which was a very special touch). The kids had a movie night in the beautiful nest. Ant would drop in on us now and then over the weekend to make sure we had everything we needed and ensuring we were having a good time. All the bonfires were light for us each day. The grounds are just stunning! We loved our stay so much, we have already booked another weekend next year. There were 23 of us in total ranging in ages, and every single one of us had a wonderful weekend.
With thanks to Anthony and all the amazing team at Riverside Cabins, a big THANK YOU for helping me make my hubby's 50th birthday so special not only for him but for us all. It was and still is a stand-out memory for us all! Looking forward to our next visit!

Honestly one of the best weekends ever thank you to Anthony and the team! We stayed 5 girls for my friends birthday and it was amazing! The facilities were brilliant - so clean, towels, showers lovely and the beds were so comfy. Tea and coffee. Free kayaking whenever we wanted in the day and Anthony made a bonfire with complimentary marshmallows. The hot tub was so easy to use and the cabins were far enough away to hear no noise from an other cabins! We also wanted to book a roast dinner for the Sunday and Anthony booked a place for us which was absolutely amazing! The New Inn - definitely recommend if you’re staying. All in all Anthony was always there to help if we needed and nothing was ever too much trouble. We’re already looking for next year. 10/10 ❤️

Just perfect. Location is absolutely stunning and picturesque, loved the river trickling past the cabins and watching the ducks in the duckpond. Couldn’t believe the paddle boarding and kayaking was free this is unusual and the icing on the cake. Not forgetting the hot tubs! Son had his 10th birthday so we used the Smokehouse for his celebration, well equipped and lovely with the fairy lights and the fire pit at night. Host was super friendly and all other staff went out of their way to speak to us and check in regularly. No hesitation to book here again.
