Like so many others, we decided to eat lunch here during our all-day bike trip on Bang Krachao. The place is unique in design and very interesting. The food was pretty average, but not bad. Prices were rather high for the value, but there are not a lot of choices so perhaps to be expected. The real problem is the... More

Having heard a lot about this place and liking the concept of green ecolodge boutique hotel in nature area, i was looking forward to visit that place in Bangkok special area of Bang Krachao. But unfortunately, what a disappointment ! When the property classify itself as a trendy and quite luxury place (room from USD 100 to USD 300), you... More

We often make the trip across the river a weekend bicycle ride and have watched the evolution of "Bangkok Tree House" over the past 5 years or so. The property is lovely and the idea is a sound one. The rooms are private and unique. The semi "outdoor" shower was great. A better quality LED light (still eco friendly) could... More

Looking fir an eco place in bkk, we came across the th. The principkes and concept as described on the website are very inspiring and laudable. After having read some reviews, we decided not to stay there, but were very curious to see the place, which we did. Rather excited we landed on the peninsula. The first thing which we... More

My friends and I went here with bicycle tour around the neighborhood. It has bicycle path and great to dine and get some refreshments. The design is very nice and breezy. I will stay here next time not just dine. The view is along river across bangkok. Very close to Bangkok and there is also a big market nearby as... More

My sister & I stayed 1N here on Oct 12, which was mid week low season. As such, we didn't encounter service issues which some travellers had. The pier & place not exactly easy to get to as a lot of Thai people (taxi driver, pier operators) don't speak English & signage poor, but so long as one is not... More

This hotel needs some major work done. The staff are friendly but the rooms are old, stained furniture, sheets were stained, shower was old and felt dirty. As well, got a massage and went into the spa to find that it was like a closet....not worth the stay. They need to do some major work.

I agree with most reviews on here, yes its a great concept, loads of potential but there are some bad points. Check in was easy, and we were treated to four different fruit juices and a cold wipe - which was a welcome cooling touch. The tree-houses themselves are cool, over 3 floors and all individually themed and lots of... More

Rooms very cool and ethos great but no atmosphere at night and rats and bats plentiful around restaurant area at night. Good venue for romantic night away as lots of relaxing areas but not much to do except cycle around the island and go to the market so only book one night. Food average for price but free ice cream... More

This is an amazing!!! A nature feel in Bangkok. So much better than boring high rise hotel in the city where all the profits go to a big corporation. Clever designed rooms with the use of mirror glass and clear glass. There are flowers and plants on the exterior walls. His and hers showers a hand held and a jungle... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It's enough to make any urban dweller green with envy: A place where you can breath clean air, explore a lush landscape, and sleep under the stars just a 30-minute ride outside the teeming, traffic-choked city center -- by public transportation, no less -- without giving up all the comforts of home. Guests at the new Bangkok Tree House can whisk themselves away from the Thai capital and its 12 million people by hopping on a recently completed extension of the city's elevated-rail network, the BTS Skytrain, to the Bangna station and then continuing on by foot, bicycle, or boat. ... more   less
