A nice little hotel just inside town (if you're coming up the east road from Mt Province). 1000 Pesos for a queen sized bed, hot water (albeit for those not used to 3rd world instahot water - might be a little odd to see a power breaker in the shower). No AC but a fan in provided. AC isn't really...

Archog is very clean, friendly and welcoming. The staff were most helpful and cheerful. The facilities are less developed than in the cities, but given the hill climate a fan is fine without a/c. The hot water depends on power (we were there just after a typhoon and power was subject to some cuts). The guest house is right in...

Came here for a training for local staff. The hotel and rooms are clean. Rooms are provided with hot shower. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Food are nice home style. No need for aircon since weather is cool. The views are breathtaking. However wifi connectivity is quite strong at the lobby but weak in the rooms. Worth visiting especially...

One of the best options in Bontoc: Rooms are simple and very clean, toilet and shower, too. The shower was warm enough, WiFi had some minor issues (instable). Room rate: 1000pesos per night. There is a restaurant, but I didn't try. Rooms near the street are noisy in the morning. Recommended place to stay. btw., busses to Banaue leave at...

We chose to stay at the eastern side of the river, because it is much more quiet than the main road in Bontoc. There are hundreds of noisy tricycles in this town. Archog hotel offered us a spacious and light room, good for four people, unfortunately not on the back side. Shower/toilet facilities are basic. The service was good enough....

There's nothing fancy about Archog but if you were looking for fancy, you probably wouldn't be in Bontoc. What it is...clean, friendly, central, delicious. Ideally located if you want to trek -- the smiley receptionist was able to text one of two Lonely Planet-recommended guides (Kinad) who got back to us within minutes about setting off the next day. In-house...

Archog Hotel is a simple but safe place to stay in the town of Bontoc. Its perfect for sales agents and people who have business in town. It has a dining area and they serve native dishes at very reasonable prices. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and have hot showers. I found the names...

It's not easy to find a clean, comfortable hotel in this beautiful, but isolated part of the Philippines. I've stayed here twice and both times I was very pleased. It is a simple hotel, but it is very clean, the staff are friendly, and the restaurant serves good quality food. The road from Bontoc to Banaue is rough but the...
