Amazing Cosy Hostel. Really nice rooms, amazing friendly staff, really cosy with the threehouse and all the wood. Also they have good scooters, laundry under it and perfect location. The owner is really nice guy, really involved with the hostel. Thankyou for everything! ❤️
I booked 3 nights here well in advanced for a surf trip with my son. Best things were the friendly, helpful English speaking staff, the tree top bar and happy hour and it's walking proximity to all the bars, restaurants, cafés, ATM, supermarket and beach. Not to mention all the natural timber for construction. WiFi was strong throughout all areas. The swimming pool was nice and provided a central cooling off spot next to lounges and hammocks. We booked the family room with private bathroom, which was outside, but next to the bedroom. In the room there was a hardish king-size bed and a loft single for my son. There was a small but strong wall-mounted multi-speed fan, a lockable cabinet with three separate lockable drawers and a strong cold air conditioner. The bathroom was huge, clean, with strong shower and warm water. Room and bathroom were swept and re-made each day. The hostel organised us scooters with board racks, picked us up from the airport with an English speaking driver and arranged our driver to our next ferry port destination. Low points were the size of the room which could have used a double rather than king bed to create a little space and no openable windows but it was too hot and the room price was easily compensated for these during a short active stay. Well done Living Room. …
Great spot, right in the middle of the action in Kuta (restaurants and bars everywhere). Cool design, love the treehouse bar upstairs and the pool/chill area downstairs. Room was super cheap, and included a free breakfast which was decent. You can help yourself to coffee and tea. The staff were excellent, with great English. They organised pickup and dropoffs for us, checked on us regularly and called us by name (the little things that make a difference). We got picked up from around Bangsal Harbour for ~ 450,000 idr, which wasn't too bad because it was ~ 2.5hrs drive. The lift to the airport was only 150,000 idr. for a 25min drive. The downstairs room with double bed & a single was good, with cold AC and 3 big lockers.
First of all, Living Room Hostel has exceptional amenities, a clean swimming pool, a well priced bar, plenty space to relax and socialize, amazing staff, clean rooms with AC, and a nice atmosphere to top it off. But, the real help was when the motorbike that I rented from the hostel was stolen from me in the middle of nowhere. As soon as I got in contact with the hostel, they immediately sent our staff to come and assist. The staff helped me get hold of the police, communicate with locals and eventually get home. The owner, a nice Hungary man, gave advice too. The next day, a staff member (on his off day) took me to the police station and sat with me for 5 hours helping communicate with the police and making statements. Without him, I would have been lost to getting it all across. The staff were all sympathetic and wished me the best. Overall, I will come back here, and 100% recommend.…
I stayed there for five nights and had the best time ever. The room was clean, the bed comfy and I felt like home. The team is super friendly! Can't recommend it enough. The breakfast is also super delicious especially the bread and homemade jam.
