We had a wonderful, relaxing, romantic time at Lubbers' Landing. The accomodations were everything we needed, simple but comfortable, clean and very charming. The food and drinks were the best we had in during our 7 night stay in the Abacos. The hosts, Austin and Amy, went out of their way to make our stay unforgetable, answering questions, giving directions,...

What a cool place to stay in the Abacos Islands! We prefer more "off the beaten" path kinda places to stay. We didn't mind that the cottages weren't water view because you are on the water and beaches all day. At night, we'd hang out on the dock and fishing sipping on Chardonnay and listening to Reggae. Amy and Austin...

We really enjoyed out stay at Lubbers. We love staying off the beaten track, but as we have gotten a little older, 30 now, we are not really into roughing it anymore. This place was the perfect balance, only 3 beautifully laid out private cottages, so not a lot of other guests, a great little beach bar with really good...

We found Lubber's Landing right here on TA, and it was so easy. And now I cannot believe we scored like we did on this one. This place was more than a romantic getaway (in our case on Valentine's week). More than lovely, secluded beaches and incredible reef. It was everything we'd dreamed of rolled into one, including superb service...

I stumbled across Lubbers Landing while trying to find a true "off the grid" get away for our family. It would be our last trip as a family before our oldest son going off to college - we were joined by his best friend and his mother. To say that we are all in "high stress" professions and lives is...

We really had no specific expectations of our hosts, accommodation or experience on our first trip to the Abacos. We were tired, stressed and just ready to get away, so frankly, a tee pee in the desert might have sufficed. We went with a group of friends and together took all 3 cottages on offer, making it our own private...

We stayed in Hope Toan and stopped for lunch at Lubbers Landing. The food was so fresh and delicious not to mention original...my kids ate fish burgers thinking it was hamburger saying it was the best burger ever. The atmosphere is lovely, right on the beach, great design, unique seating area and friendly staff. Next time we hope to stay...

My wife and I stayed at Lubber's Landing for 7 nights, July 20-27, 2013. Amy met us and showed us the property on her day off and let us know that we had full use of the bar, kitchen, kayaks, paddle boards and anything else we needed during our stay. This was perfect. We stayed in Cottage 3, which had...

Very casual fun restaurant with the best island burger we had while in the Bahamas. Austin secret recipe of fresh tuna and 20 something ingredients is perfect with the fries and a cool beer. Amy is a hoot to talk to and will make you feel like home. Feel free to take Austin's stand up paddle board for a ride...

Very cool place! Amy and Austin are truly great hosts and go beyond to make sure your time is pleasurable. Cute Ecco suite with kitchen was just like the web site pictures. Cool and relaxed vibe. Having your own 20 foot boat for the week made for an adventure everyday! Catching snappers off the dock was a real challenge. This...

“All cottages are equal.”

“We were in cottage 3. It is located at the very end of the path. But each one is nestled back in its own little private area. You have privacy in every cottage. And there really isn't any foot traffic other than the other cottages. So you have privacy.”

“All cottages provide a sense of privacy and romance. They are all decorated so cute and quaint with a "Swiss Family Robinson" feel. Super, super cute.......comfortable, clean and well appointed.”

“Cottage three is great for folks that like to sleep in and go to bed early. It is farthest from the resort and closest to the trail to the secluded beach.”
