Here is a snapshot of my day at Rancho Esperanza - Go for a 10 km beach run (or longer if you wish) and come across baby tortoises being released into the ocean, eat delicious and healthy food at their restaurant, go for a surf steps from the property, read in one of the many hammocks, have fabulous conversation with...

It may take awhile to get to rancho esperanza, but within a few minutes of being there I knew it was well worth it. The property is spread out, and there are many places to relax and enjoy. I spent hours in the hammocks overlooking the beach. There were plenty of options of things to do with tours and surf...

Beautiful place to stay with family, friends or solo. Owners are very lovely. Beautiful sunsets, sunrise surfsessions. Eating all together. Sharing delicious desserts. Laying in on of the hammocks reading a book from there library.

If I had it over to do, I would stay with Nate and crew at the end of my trip. As it stands, we stayed in Jiquillo for two nights at the very beginning of our trip and couldn't really appreciate it for what it is -- a truly unique find. It didn't help that an earthquake and tsunami warning...

We stayed at Rancho Esperanza for a week (november 2016). This ws our first stop in Nicaragua, and we couldn't have picked a better one! The only bad thing was that we missed it after we left, even though we had amazing experiences elsewhere in the country. We went to Rancho mainly to surf, and for total beginners like us...

We went to Rancho Esperanza intending to stay for 3 days, and ended up staying a week. You feel like you are off the beaten path in Jiquilillo, an authentic place. Our goal in Jiquilillo was to surf, and Rancho Esperanza was a great spot for that. We took surf lessons from the owner and surfed twice a day everyday; surfing...

I stayed here with my girlfriend for a week and had the most incredible time. Amazing staff, location and food. We were there over Thanksgiving and had a lovely meal with all the guests and staff. Family-style meals mean you get to know everyone really well, it's very social but with a super chilled out vibe. Stayed in the dorm...

Stayed here for 5 nights a few weeks ago (October 2016) and it was a great. The staff was friendly, helpful, and responsive. We visited on the edge of rainy season so it was not very crowded but the other guests that we met were chill and affable. It's pretty easy to relax, eat the good food, swim in the...

Rancho Esperanza offers you a relaxed stay with very hospitable staff looking after you. You can either enjoy relaxed surfing for beginners to intermediate or enjoy a tour through the beautiful estuary just taking a kayak tour through the mangrove forest or visiting the turtle hatching station. Overall the hosts are very helpful with tips for every purse and taste...
