I'm writing this review at 03-45am, as sleep is impossible !! We elected to stay in this "quirky" place rather than one of the bigger chains near Gatwick Airport, prior to a flight. We paid £115 for their top room, and at first sight it seemed very pleasant. However, the constant noise from passing traffic, coupled with woefully inadequate curtains...

We were visiting Nymans and Wakehurst and used the Curious Pig in the Parlour for our nights stopover. We found all the staff we met very friendly and helpful. We happened to be there on "half price steak night" which proved excellent value. Our room was up a couple of flights of stairs but there are ground floor rooms. The...

My friends were told they couldn't order food where they were sitting outside as they were sitting on the wrong side of the tree! I've been told this before and its very bizarre as the pub wasn't busy at all for a sunny Saturday afternoon. There were dirty glasses stacked up at the bar awaiting for be washed and we...

Went with my family today and the food is Fantastic, however the time it takes to serve is ridiculously slow, over an hour for the first course and another 45 mins for the main, Unfortunately the dessert was so slow we cancelled it. Real shame as the pub, food and staff are fantastic.

Really disappointed with today's visit, which took 2 hrs for just one course. Generally abandoned by our waitress, which I assumed was too busy, we ended up carrying our own drinks from the bar and ended up paying there too because no one came to collect our plates. One meal was not great, but no one came over to see...

Being a premium brand we sell top quality products and sometimes that can be reflected in the price however you may be surprised to here that our prices are lower then other similar venues around the area. We stayed here as we're collecting my mum from Gatwick and thought it looked much nicer than the big hotels at the airport. On arrival pub was packed great sign of good food . We were checked in and taken to our room and were left to settle in. Room was small and dark , on further inspection not clean...

Hi Erica31, Thank you for the review we always appreciate detailed feedback. Firstly I would like to apologies for the cleanliness of the room it is simply not acceptable, we would never knowingly let anybody stay in a room that was dirty as we have extremely high standards. I am disappointed in our old cleaning team (they have now been...
