Fantastic location with an amazing view over the hills (& sheep) of Carmarthenshire. Warm welcome from our hosts who checked we had everything we wanted. A well equipped wooden panelled studio with excellent views. Kitchen/Dining room and en suite double bedroom. Very comfortable and just what we needed. Lovely garden and grass hill ouside for contemplation (or picnics). Went for...

We had a few days to spend at Dildre and we echo a lot of what other people have said in their reviews. It really is out in the middle of nowhere, apart from Cynghordy railway station at the bottom of the hill. Our three hosts (we musn't leave out Poppet) couldn't have been more welcoming and can give you...

Just wonderful - everything was in perfect, as-new condition and scrupulously clean. I can't imagine nicer or more accommodating owners either. The weather may not have been the greatest, but I suppose that the rain just made the log burner and comfy sofa even more comfy! Will definitely be coming back some time, well worth the price.

We stayed for a week at Dildre, a cute and cosy cottage with a breath taking view. This place exceeded our expectations in all aspects. The location was more beautiful than we could have imagined. Moreover, it was more tranquil than we could have hoped. It was just an ideal destination to escape from a busy city. The accommodation is...

Having just spent 4 nights at Dildre Cottages, we rented Field View located behind the owners property, we can only enthuse at the wonderful views, clean modern accommodation and friendly hospitality offered by David and Cecilia French. The accommodation is wonderfully appointed and pristinely clean and spacious. The properties were built with love and care by David and the walls...

What a beautiful place - Such a great spot to get away from busy life. Lovely welcoming hosts with incredible accommodation. The hosts recommended a superb beach area called Llanstefan, which also had an amazing castle that you could fully explore. Tenby is well worth a visit as well as the countless walks on the Brecon Beacons. Brecon itself is...

“Better views from Dildre Cottage which is situated on the top/first floor of the main building, but we preferred the Field View Cottage as it felt like it was our own home: Being completely separate from the main building so we didn't need to worry about making noise; not that we were noisy!”

“There are two properties at Dildre, Fieldview and Dildre cottage. Both are beautiful but the cottage has a slightly better set of views.”
