I was traveling in my family group, had booked a room. When I got the hotel advised we were not allowed to have more than 4 people in a room hence had to book another room. Which cost me additional and no body stayed in there.... Policy is that there is no more than 4 people to a room, yet...

I stayed at this hotel with my granddaughter, to break our long journey up. The booking process was easy, the room was a fair price considering I'd booked the same day. Staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. If I had to fault anything it was that the hallways and room smelled of onion...

Stayed 11 March for 1 night. Arrived 11pm to a friendly welcome at reception and an immaculate room with the new King-size bed as per adverts. Plenty of hot water and giant bath. The window-glazing is great as we heard hardly any noise and it's obviously a busy motorway. We had our dog with us - she's a Travelodge regular...

As I have pointed out in other reviews I have only recently returned to the Travelodge brand after poor experiences in the past but it is clear that the brand is improving the experience and quality of the rooms. As we were arriving I was nearly caught out by the SatNav issue that some people appear to have been afflicted...

The hotel was based actually on the service station. We ended up on the wrong side of the motorway with the post code of the Travelodge. We walked across the bridge to the other side to check in. After speaking to the reception they explained they were having problems with the sat Nav directing people and try to telephone people...

We shared 2 family rooms on the ground floor recently. My band were touring and were doing late-night shows and long drives across the u.k every night so rest is important. We arrived in the early hours of the morning from Glasgow to London after a show. Our alarms were set for 9am to get as much rest as possible...

We arrived at 11pm and the team here couldn't have been more helpful having everything prepared and letting us know all the extras available. Friendly and bubbly with fantastic customer experience. The travel for was in the room ready, we phoned 2 hours ahead to let them know our time of arrival and they made sure there was a colleague...

We meet many people on our travels but to say the nicest staff we have ever come across definitely work at the Travelodge southwaite. Janice and Dee were a credit to travelodge always smiling, friendly and helpful they could teach others a thing or two within the Travelodge empire. Room was excellent for the price wonderfully fresh. You just drift...

Comfortable, warm room on chilly night. Hardly any noise from within or from motorway. Exceptionally good value at convenient location. Usual motorway stopover so regular outlets alongside hotel. Free parking whilst guest.

Nice size comfortable room. Helpful staff (Alasdair). However did have issue of receiving parking charge from moto a week later. The parking is included in the stay so I'm not sure if we missed doing something (eg registering vehicle) at check-in.
