It is hard to give a review about Taiana’s as we had a wonderfull time and loved Uoleva island. The people are so lovely and the setting is stunning on white sandy beaches with crystal clear waters to swim in: these must be the best beaches in Tonga. Our only concerns have to do with hygiene in the kitchen and...

This place is beautiful and owners are fantastic. It's cheap and basic - there are a couple of wooden huts (just mattress and mosquito net) or You can put your own tent . But what more do You need on the picture perfect white sand island? :) You can bring your own food and cook or buy meals (more expensive...

Finau and Noah met us at the airport and took us by van and boat to her father's place on Uoleva Island. (Resort is too grand a name for a simple place!) The accommodation was as others have described. We much liked our stay of 7 nights there and remember - Taiana for her cooking of our dinners and her...

We spent 4 days at Taina's and loved it. I am a bit fussy with food, so opted to bring our own eggs, fruit etc and cook our own breakfast...although the scones and cake Taina prepared did look tasty, and her breakfast also included paw paw, boiled eggs, a big thermos of hot water and tea. In the evening we...

Taiana and her team/family were very welcoming. The cabins are close to the white sand beach (50m) They are very basic but clean and absolutely lovely. Taiana is a good cooker, using fresh fish and fruits. We can hire a kayak for 20 TOP a day and they lend snorkeling gear. Anyway, if you want a relax and lovely stay,...

This place is all about peace and quiet and just chilling out! Very basic accommodations, but that's the point. It's sooo soothing to sleep with the windows and door wide open and listen to the ocean waves 100 ft away. The beds very comfortable with good pillows and mosquito net. You can bring your own food if you choose and...

We had a wonderful time in Taiana´s Ressort. I think it´s the best place on Uoleva and possibly in Tonga. It´s wonderful. Kalafi the chief and his family are the owners, which are very interesting, sympathetic people and very good hosts. One of the most fascinating things was listening to the exciting stories of Kalafi while sitting on the campfire...

We stayed 4 nights in August 2014 at Taianas Place on Uoleva Island and can highly recommend it. Although the fales and the facilities are quite basic we enjoyed our stay very much and were really sad when we had to leave. Taiana is an excellent cook so the food was always plenty and delicious. Kalafi is a great and...

Taiana's sunset beach guesthouse and Uoleva island are one of the greatest places I've been. Really really quiet place where you can easily spend the whole day lying in the hammock. While we were there with my wife fir two weeks, we were the only tourists around. Taiana and Kalafi are really nice hosts and the food is good. Unfortunately...
