The pub part is very good staff are excellent, parking not too bad, stayed in room 13,not too good no wardrobe, and beds very uncomfortable. Would prefer to have white sheets and duvet cover. Need shelves in bathroom.. room was quite dark even with the lights on.price was reasonable. Food in the restaraunt was very good, sirloin steak was cooked...

My brother and his wife stayed in the Tower Arms for 4 nights during the Christmas break. They had a fantastic stay. The accommodation is basic but comfortable. We are local and love the pub and my brother couldn't praise the staff enough. Thank you!

We were attending a party nearby so required a room for the night. I used to work nearby so knew the place. I think it's all been said about the rooms and breakfast, but we got a room with a shower for £52. Let's be honest that's a good deal for the location . Would I stay there again, probably...

Reading some of the reviews of this place I thought I was about to enter the black hole of calcutta. Yes it is a bit basic in places and yes there are some rooms with shared facilities (which do not appeal to me) but ask for the right room and it's not bad. Positives: 15 mins from Heathrow, 20 mins...

Terrible service and when I wanted to talk to the manager regarding this she was very defensive and rude. Shocking. Breakfast was poor and very dirty rooms. Shower is in the room so don't share the twin rooms with family.

Hostel type place, no toilets in some rooms, shower IN the room. More expensive than a Travelodge! Breakfast awful, mini babybel and eggs plus bread and a toaster. Dirty and awful. Sheets filthy. Food only good for surviving. Tartar sauce came out yellow (salad cream). Just don't risk it!

Parking very limited on arrival, get there as early as u can to get a space on sight. Lovely traditional pub downstairs & very welcoming staff who you are able to chat to & have a good laugh with. We were taken to our room very promptly, we had booked a double room but it was 2 small single beds...

Came across this pub/hotel while looking for a quick lunch near to work. Ordered fish and chips and a pint of Bombardier for a total of £14.00 or so. The pint was nice, the food came out quickly enough, but the fish was bland and a little bony, also the batter was a little soggy. Nice portion size but left...

On first arrival it looked really nice and the staff seamed friendly .when we got to the room it was very small and dated the bed was very uncomfortable and TV did not work as the areal lead ( which was coming down from the ceiling ) was to short to reach the TV . After tacking a shower in...

I went here on a business lunch. Although the food is cheap it is very average. For a lunch time the pub was not at all busy. Many years ago it would always be packed out. Is this a sign of the times or a below average pub.
