Long overdue...but here we go. Went there last weekend of December 2015. Staff is poorly skilled and borderline unprofessional -I had to hear the transexual at the lobby about his/her hungover because of the previous night party at La Tortuga, a nearby competitor-; also the manager was kinda rude, saw her raise her tone of voice to one of the...

I'm so sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. During the Christmas season pricing goes up a bit and we go home to see our families. Unfortunately, when the owners leave, we can have some problems with staff not behaving as they normally do. As far as the bats go... they are bats (basically winged rats) which is...

This was my wife and my third visit to this beautiful gem two hours down the coast from San Salvador. Ten lovely rooms right on the edge of the beach. Lisette, the owner, and her excellent staff have created a beautiful spot to relax, to swim, to dine, and walk the miles of beautiful beaches near El Cuco. Order the...

Lizette and her staff, is the reason our vacation was unforgettable.....the food and accommodations were wonderful…but the people there, were the ones that made the visit outstanding….We even exchanged emails, so if they're ever in Hawaii, where we live, they have a place to stay….

I stayed here for a week, had a wonderful experience. I have been to Las Flores before and stayed at another (more expensive) hotel that was closer to the break but didn't have the type of amenities that azul provided. The hotel provides transport to las flores when you want and the owner of the hotel has connections with the...

Beautiful place to visit with family, friends and children. This place has comfortable rooms and beautiful views. The food is delicious and fresh. Is a quiet place you can hear the ocean. People who work there are very friendly.

This resort is unique in this area, in fact, in any of the beach towns in El Salvador that I have visited so far (which is quite a few). Mostly, you can find only find very basic surf shacks and hostals, with some high-end, expensive resorts splashed around here and there. There are very few middle-range places, and this is...

We visited this beautiful little hotel almost a year ago last May, so this review is long overdue. First of all, the design and layout of the place is terrific. We stayed in a room at the far end of the second floor and highly recommend it. You get a corner of the massive balcony all to yourself, along with...

Hi Patricia, I apologize for the misunderstanding. We have been having a terrible time dealing with Booking.com. We have been speaking to them for over a month regarding the price changes for Semana Santa... they have told us on multiple occasions that they have closed out the week on their website, and yet we continue to receive bookings through their...

On the first night of our stay we were shown to the bungalow that we booked online. It was in an ideal location close to the beach with air conditioning but unfortunately it was not overly clean and that first night we were practically eaten alive by mosquitos that were finding their way in. The second night of our stay...

Azul surf club is best described as a good spot for a very quiet stay, perhaps excepting It’s 20 minutes walk from the center of El Cuco and probably 40 mins walk from the other B&Bs listed in TA. If you want to compare to those, or want to spend time in those, that makes it inconvenient. However, the beach...
