We stayed in a room on the first floor overnight while visiting family. It was a blustery March day and the room felt decidedly cold (no heat in radiator). We were provided with a heater though and using that warmed the room up. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space....

I was coming up to Birmingham from Bristol for a Russell Howard show at the Genting arena, so this hotel was a brilliant spot. Close to M42 so easy access, on the main road but could hear no noise from the hotel. I also had hotel vouchers to use. (cost of room £85, voucher = £50 so only paid £35)...

We use this hotel occasionally when we are in the area and are always pretty happy with the quality of the rooms. breakfast is included and this is always good, busy between 7-7:30 so can be quite loud but as our office is around the corner we are able to go down later. on our last visit, the gym equipment...

Where do I start, the size of the room was a joke barely room to pass one another' dirty soiled carpeting, and the lovely growth of mold on the bathroom ceiling. The light above the bathroom sink was burned out only took four days to replace. I will sat this the staff is wonderful but I don't feel that management...

Stayed here and couldn't get served in either bar or restaurant. Waited over 20 mins in the main restaurant with one waiter running backwards and forwards clearing tables and no order taken. Moved to the bar ordered but after 15 mins had to chase my drink. Horrendous service and the hotel is dated but mismatched decor. Won't stay again and...

Very bland hotel. It's missing pictures on the wall for a start and lacks any character. All the walls in corridors and restaurant have no pictures to break up the emptiness. It feels cold and empty and lacking life. Unlike my room which looked lived in. Tatty furniture and a window which you couldn't close and a radiator which didn't...

Stayed here for 1 night for a friends wedding. The reception and bar etc were fine and lovely and the service was great. However my room and many other rooms in which my friends were staying at smelt vile. It smelt of wet dog if I am honest and that would make sense with the number if dogs present for...

We stayed here two nights whilst visiting family in Solihull. The room was clean if a little tired in places. It was a reasonable size with a double bed, wardrobe, dressing table, TV on another cupboard, bedside tables and a chair and small coffee table and tea making facilities. If we'd been staying longer, it wouldn't have felt cramped. We...

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was two too long, very dated rooms, in fact that dated I felt like I had travelled back to 1987. Had to change rooms after first night as woke up itching with red marks all over me, they did assure me the room was clean, which they would do anyway. They moved me...

We stayed as a family of 4 in the family room which was a really nice size. The facilities in the leisure centre were a bit dated but it was included in the room cost and we enjoyed using the pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. Breakfast was buffet style and nice. The front of desk person could have...
