We stopped here again twice on our annual trip to the south of France - on the way down it made a great start to the holiday, and on the way back it was a consolation for having to return to normality. John and Lesley are unfailingly welcoming and delightful hosts - how do they do it? And the standard...

Highly recommended!! We had our second family stay with John & Lesley & it didn't disappoint! We were made to feel right at home in this beautiful French haven! The rooms are airy, well decorated, clean and nicely furnished. We were catered for by John who is a modest but natural chef in the kitchen using local produce to produce...

My sister and I stayed here on our way to Morzine for one night. We booked it with Airbnb and I'm so glad that we did! We were welcomed by the cutest 8 week old kitten at the front door which we played with the whole evening - it was adorable! It was such a lovely house in such an...

We did an overnight stop here, but wished we were staying longer. Both Lesley and John are very hospitable & we felt welcomed and 'at home' immediately. We would love to return at some point in the future as there is much to explore in the area.

Lovely French house, lovely English people, excellent food. A touch of France without stress. Lesley and John know how to be sociable and welcoming without being overwhelming, could not recommend the welcome and food more highly.

What a warm, generous welcome we were given by Lesley and John on arrival. As a couple, they have wholeheartedly embraced French life over the past 10 years in such a way they are truly well-respected locally (not a mean feat in a Bourgogne country village), but with the reassurance and familiarity of their roots stemming from back across the...

We spent five nights with Lesley and John at La Bagnosienne as part of a wider French stay. It was a perfect experience, from the genuine warmth of our initial welcome, through the excellence of our ensuite room, to the glorious food at both breakfast and dinner. However, the real joy of this lovely house lies in the sense of...
