The hotel is in an old building but the fittings and decor are quite modern, The result is it is very comfortable but still retains its quaintness factor. The hotel's location would not suit everyone as it it very quiet but that is why we chose it and we were very happy with it. But the hotel's additional point of...

Well first impressions of this quaint little village and the George was very good. We parked in the car park and then noticed the rotten windows. We also saw where the food is stored which was outside in a shed with the door left open and there was no fly screen at the kitchen door. We entered the pub to...

Went for family trip to Nunney and found the George. Gorgeous setting, fantastic ale and although I didn't eat, the food being served looked and smelt fantastic. Would highly recommend a visit :) Will definitely be going back in the summer.

I stayed overnight in The George and found the Hotel/bar/restaurant absolutely charming as were the staff. My room was large, very nicely furnished and comfortable. It has an olde worlde feel about it while being modern and very clean. I had a burger for dinner and it was probably the best I've eaten. There was a large choice for breakfast...

Late booking, but what a find. Lovely petite bedroom, but more than enough room for two even though I was a lone traveller. Food was top rate and hot. The young female waitress was very accommodating with my requests. A lot of custard but I managed it . Lovely walled secluded garden, cup of tea and a smoke :-) Lovely...

We visited for a weekend as part of a large family group. Our rooms were comfortable and warm and the facilities were good. Breakfast each day was super with plenty of choices and a nice relaxed atmosphere. We ate in both nights and the food was typical pub grub, which we all enjoyed. We were made very welcome by the staff...
