Originally owned by the Fry confectionary family, this property is an old type building with a modern tint on it! staff are all friendly and the rooms are fine and well equipped for a business trip, with WI-FI unfortunately whilst I was there it went down twice, hard for a travelling business man to check e-mails etc, food was excellent...

Bright, clean, efficient staff a great start this was followed with various options for lunch but the roast carvery won the day, two meats, lots of vegetables and all the trimmings no one will say they are hungry. Spoil yourself to a desert and a coffee all for less than a £20 note ....... No cooking and no washing up cannot...

The staff outshine the Hotel considerably, which made it a pleasant stay, but I won't be making any recommendations to friends and family to stay here as first choice. We were in the family room with our 3yr old. It's a busy hotel with business guests so I guess it was the only room available that could accommodate us, but...

Had a meeting in Keynsham the following day, but would have been happy to stay here if the meeting had been in central Bristol. The hotel is very clean, good bedroom facing the rear of the property which was very quiet. Breakfast was welcome and freshly cooked.

Sprayed here for an overnight stay with four friends we had three rooms 1 and 3 and 11 two twins and one double. The public areas of the hotel are nicely decorated but the bedrooms and bathrooms need serious updating as they don't match the public areas at all. The Person that checked us in on arrival was not at...

Room was so small, had to climb over bed/move furniture to get around or access wardrobe. Waited 45 mins for (incomplete) Breakfast. Not enough staff during day, no staff overnight. Sheets piled on steep/narrow staircase landing in morning. Quite a high level of street noise. Hectoring tone of in-room information: eg you will be charged for each hour beyond check-out...

We were allocated room 3 which was situated next to the kitchen. Dreadful smell all night long from the previous nights cooking. Awoken by the noise from the kitchen. Unbelievably small room better suited as a single. Tired and dated decor. Paid the same price as other guests with rooms more than twice the size of this one. No toiletries,...
