Yes it runs all year inc safari, they are just bit less frequent out of season. We've stayed 3 times at different times of year, inc last November and all the main places were open, just some of the kiosks around the park... More

No harm in doing so especially if going during summer and other busy periods. If you're staying at PL I'm sure you'll love the whole experience and also try to go to Howletts (entry often included in package) to see Babydoll... More

The safari lodge tents are the closest. It's not part of the hotel (still on the grounds through)it's actually in the reserve and you will have to get a golf buggy out there. And it's pretty expensive in comparison to the... More
