A group of us regularly have lunches together and this week the venue picked was the Rose and Crown. A lovely old building but dining room was pretty ordinary which would be ok if the prices matched! In my opinion prices for a Tuesday lunchtime were a rip off. Standard size bowl of prawn pasta, tasted ok but seemed very...

We had lunch here a few months back with my dinner coming out with hairs in the salad. On telling the Waitress she took it away and thinking they would send out another meal from fresh brought the same salad out with another egg tossed on the salad. After telling the Waitress 'you're kidding me arn't you?' she said 'i'll...

Attended a seminar at this hotel, the car park at the front of the hotel is very small and was full so we were directed to the rear car park. What a nightmare, it had been raining and the car park was a puddley muddy quagmire. Catering was good.

We stayed at the Rose and Crown motel style accommodation. Room was renovated to a good standard. only negative was bad lighting and the mirror in the bathroom was quite high, I had to get a chair to be able to see myself (though I am quite short😊). Staff very helpful. The hotel was very impressive, we had a drink...

We saw the reviews of this hotel and thought it might be suitable for breakfast after arriving from Singapore in the early morning. We had to hang around for a while as they open a bit later on weekends but we enjoyed our meal so it was worth the wait. Big helpings as you would expect but all three meals...

We stayed here for two nights. The room was comfortable with a view of the pool. The staff were wonderful especially the restaurant staff and especially 'Sarah' who happily helped us have the best dinner. The restaurant meals were delicious and we never felt rushed. Breakfast was included in our price and was a set menu. However I think I...

We stayed overnight, and had dinner with friends in the restaurant. The tasting plate was top quality, with pork belly, brioche, Moreton Bay Bugs, pate and a mini shepherd's pie. The meals are top quality pub food. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean, and the service is first class. We have been regulars at the Rose and Crown for...
