Stayed for 2 nights as attending wedding close by. Had booked budget accommodation as knew we would not be spending much time there. We're really impressed with lovely big room which was very clean with bottles of water, tea, coffee etc supplied. The bathroom appeared to have been recently refurbished with plenty of towels to hand. All the staff made...

Stayed for the second time at the waterloo cross. OK first time but this time was different. The room was poorly illuminated so at first inspection we didn't see the thick black mould surrounding both windows and the door panels. The net curtains were black but with them in the shower tray we could see across the room. To be...

Have stayed at the Waterloo cross a number of times over the years, is ideally located just off the M5 and is also a restaurant, so very handy to split the journey up if heading to the far reaches of Cornwall. The accommodation is fine although the ensuite bathrooms are beginning to look a bit jaded and need a spruce...

Awesome food. Lovely staff. Good prices. The 2 for £10 is well worth it, but the again the other meals are fab as well. Been going there a lot and love it. I have taken my eldest 2 for a meal for their birthday and they loved the burgers

We stayed 2 nights, August 2015. Rooms were a bit dated & could do with an upgrade. Bed & linen were clean. As with most converted old type hotels noise transferred easily, from stairs to other rooms above. This really needs sorting, it is a shame, cos the staffs were brilliant. Food was good & well priced for value. We...

My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 nights, while visiting my grandparents. The staff were all friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The rooms were of a nice size, very modern and cleaned every day with new sheets, towels and replenished drinks, and the included breakfast was delicious. All this, coupled with the great price we paid, we were both very...
