We found this b. and b. to be very charming and laid back, all the more so because of the personality of Anne, the proprietor, who was very friendly and funny and always around to answer our many questions. It was quiet and within a 5 minute walk from the lovely little medieval village of Viens with spectacular views of the Luberon and some good walking paths. There was only one restaurant in Viens (which was only open for lunch at this time) so Anne gave us the option of dinner at La Bergerie. Breakfast was the usual french fare, croissants, baguette with homemade jams and some spice bread. We did opt for dinner at La Bergerie which was delicious and inexpensive; a tangine of chicken, prunes, pomme de terre and vegetables, cooked and served by Anne. There were 3 rooms outside around a small pool. Ours was spacious and clean with a loo and separate shower room and an extra bed on a little landing upstairs. There were many beautiful little villages around the area and we will definitely return to visit more of them.…
