The bungalows of this hotel are lovely and the view is fantastic. But there are many drawbacks, the woman who run this hotel is haughty and cold, the place is noisy. There are bars and roads nearby. We had a lot of problems: the shower and the toilets were broken. And by night the hotel is not enough lighted.

It may have been paradise a few years ago but, now, even the fantastic view is spoiled by the electric pylons. This so called secluded place is awfully noisy (discotheca nearby and cars noise). Breakfast is nothing: black tea (not even green tea) , bad coffee, no chocolate, no bread, no freshly squeezed juices, no marmalade, only corn cakes with...

We visited the beautiful town of Minca and stayed at the Eco friendly ecohabs Minca. Adriana, the manager, and her team welcome Us to the comfortable and bamboo made maloka, which was comfortable yet eco friendly with a great view over the bay of Santa marta through the rain forest. Nice big place, with a kitchenette, and a living. In...

The views are nice. That's it! But other than that the hotel is very average and the service is not so terrible. I thinks it costs way too much! The rooms are ok, but not so nice. The service is not very good. The people are nice but poorly prepared for running the hotel. They gave us the wrong key...

We had a split level apartment which was large and had a great view of Santa Marta. The construction is rustic but I expected that. I booked the romantic package for one evening which was well organised and kept a secret from my other half. We returned from dinner to rose petals scattered everywhere and champagne on ice. The only...

Oh we were really excited for this place.... The location is gorgeous, the staff super friendly, the view amazing (but you will get an amazing view anywhere you go in Minca) the cabins cute but poor construction (significant spaces between walls, the window mesh just barely attached to the walls / windows - please see pictures) you are practically 100%...

We stayed at Minca EcoHabs in December with two adults and two school-age kids. The rooms were rustic but comfortable. Loved the hammocks on the balcony. As others have mentioned, there was only one mosquito net (and three beds). The hotel really ought to invest in a net for each bed. (We also took malaria medication as a precaution.) The...

The Ecohabs are a great little sanctuary but our stay was very disappointing. We were there pre-high season and the only guests in the facility. We did not receive the space we paid for nor would they move us. In fact the owner was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I warn visitors to make sure you are getting what you pay...

What an amazing setting! With rooms atop mountains with amazing views, this is the perfect setting for some downtime. There's not much to do here after sun down so if you're looking for entertainment I'd stay in Minca itself, but after two weeks of hostels this was exactly what we wanted. The food was delicious and the staff all really...
