I stay in east anglia on a regular basis and I am fed up with staying in some very average budget hotels. So I found Hazel B and B. What a find! Beautiful quiet location, comfortable well equipped room. Rural and tranquil. Fantastic kitchenette with fresh milk and a microwave for heating up meals. WiFi connection was good, tv reception fab, lovely drinks tray and even nice shower gel. I stayed in willow and the view was stunning. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious.eggs as fresh as they can be, chickens in the garden. I hope to be back.

A good friend and I decided it was time to catch up with friends in Cambs and Norfolk after so long not seeing them. I booked Hazel Barn and hoped it would be as good as it looked. It was - with bells and whistles! We were shown to a twin bedded en suite room that was delightfully decorated and clean, warm and spacious. There was even a little shared kitchen with a fridge and a small bottle of fresh milk for the tea and coffee tray in our room. Every convenience was considered and provided and when we woke and pulled back the curtains to see geese, hens and turkeys looking back at us, from a small paddock, I thought it couldn't get better but it did: the breakfast was perfect! I mean it. Delicious sausages and bacon with real taste. Everything piping hot, including the toast and proper tea! I haven't stayed in a B&B for 40+ years and by accident I found the best! Don't hesitate, book it.…

We had a lovely stay at Hazel Barn. Our hosts were very helpful and obliging. We had the twin room on the ground floor overlooking the chickens, Turkey and Geese, which was a bit different. Our room had every amenity you could want and was extremely clean. There was a great choice for breakfast which was very enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again.

My friend and I had a lovely three night stay at Hazel Barn over the May Bank Holiday. Ginny was very welcoming and did everything she could to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Our room was nicely decorated, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good with cereals, fresh fruit and yogurt as well as a cooked breakfast. A guest kitchen is available with a microwave and fridge and plates and glasses if you would like to bring back food to eat in the evening. The location is peaceful and I hope to return for another stay.

Stayed here for one night during our recent Suffolk/Norfolk road trip... Warmly greeted by Ginny. Room was nice and the view across the garden was impressive. Good location, although a bit too far to be able to walk back into Diss. Breakfast was a timed slot to cater for Covid rules. This worked fine, with a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, local cooked breakfast produce and home-made jams etc. Plenty of tea and toast also available. Not likely to be passing again, but would definitely recommend.

This was our second visit to Hazel Barn whilst visiting family in the area. The room was cosy and warm and well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities. The Host Ginny made us feel really welcome and cooked a beautiful breakfast on each morning of our stay. Highly recommended if staying in the area.
