What a fabulous place! Our family including children aged 9 & 8 stayed for a weekend. Our first arrival we walked in via the local Mon village where it turns out most of the staff are sourced from. First views were of the rafts floating on the river with lovely views and a peaceful setting. No electricity was such a...

The Resort is nicely situated on the River Kwai. We took the "Death Railway" from Bangkok to Nam Tok, where we jumped on the back of a mini-bus that brought us to the hotel pier from where a boat picked us up and brought us to the River Kwai Jungle Rafts. This whole trip was already great. The Resort itself...

One night stay, arriving and leaving by longtail boat. no electricity and no mobile signal or wifi, removes all distractions! Food at dinner, although a set menu provided a good range of Thai tastes. Breakfast was average. Room amenities basic but comfortable, just remember where you put things as it's hard to find the elusive by lamp light. Cold shower...

We have just returned from here, we did the 2 night, 3 day tour, our guide Bligh was fantastic, so helpful and informative. Food was excellent, my daughter can't eat spicy foods so our meals were prepared without any chilli or spice, thanks to Bligh. Be prepared it was very cold at night and mornings which we didn't realise so...

I spent a week in total in the Bangkok area and my 2 day- 1 night getaway to River Kwai was the most incredible part by far. It was an incredible, serene place to stay with a homey feel. Meals are pre-set and served in a big family style which I really liked as we were able to try so...

We stayed at Jungle rafts as a family in 2009 and loved it. By special request my daughter spent the night of her 21st birthday there with her friend. (as the were travelling through Thailand). She was not disappointed. It was again a magical experience. They loved the experience, the setting, jumping and floating in the river, a massage, the...

We stayed for three nights and felt that we had certainly had had enough by the time we left. Have rated it average which is a shame but too much of the good stuff is cancelled out by the annoying. Bad first: the other guests - when everyone is away on excursions this is a lovely place, quiet and relaxed,...

This place could be classed as another wonder of the world. the food plentiful and good. Best part was putting on a life jacket and jumping into the river and floating past all the units and getting and doing it all again.
