The resort has 1/3 or it's room over the water, 2/3 on land. Both have spectacular view. Kayak is available for free ( with deposits). The resort won't allow you to take the kayak out after 6pm for safety reason, but you can still borrow their safety jacket and swim around. There's not much around the area, so you might...

The hotel offers spectacular view of the lake. We stayed at the "raft" room and it overlooked to the hugh calm lake. There were not too many people and to my surprise not a lot of hotels/resorts nearby. So we basically felt as if it was private. There were available life vests if you're interested in dipping in the water....

The disappointment began with the check-in, staff rather nonchalant and being charged extra for our child despite three beds being standard in the "villa" we booked. After check-in we went to the restaurant and ordered some Thai food and a burger. The Thai food was so-so and the burger a real disappointment. The same holds true for the breakfast. But...

This resort is in a beautiful setting on the side of a man-made lake upstream of the Srinakarin dam in Kanchanaburi province. Access is via a twisty and breathtaking mountain road complete with elephants along the way! Staff is friendly and helpful. They can arrange a variety of outings via taxi although it is probably best to have your own...

The location next to the lake is beautiful, stunning views, divine pictures can be taken. The rooms are nice and clean but a bit too expensive, especially the rooms on the lake. It is very quiet so getting some sleep is not a problem. There is a small mini market with a very limited number of items ... But there...

The hotel is not so bad for Thai standards. It is perfectly well located on the lake but far from everything thing. The rooms are large with great view on the lake. Our room had a balcony as most of the rooms. You will have to manage to live with all type of insects going around, so if it is...

We planned the trip for 4 of us to spend a night at the raft at Rayaburi. First the raft was not available. My friend tried so hard and managed to book 1 raft and 1 room. On the way heading to Kanchanaburi, the hotel called to inform us that they forgot to close the allotment and the raft was...

Had just one night at this resort, beautiful lake and scenery..very peaceful.. but little to quiet and isolated for me for any longer period...rooms nice and shower hot..and food reasonable but not great. However my main concern was the rooms lead straight onto the lake...easy for swimming but you are straight into deep water with no easy way to get back...

Very nice hotel resort. Definitly off the beaten path. Kayakas are availalbe to cruise the calm waters of the lake. We stayed in the rooms overlooking the lake (not on the ones floating on the water). The room was clean, fresh, and comfortable. We agreed the resort should not get 5 stars but we couldn't agree as to why. My...

My wife's company held a trip to this resort during the past weekend. On arrival, we had lunch pre-ordered, all was nice. We then wanted some ice-cream, but as previous reviewed, cash-payment only. We then enjoyed the afternoon in the lake with kayak, swimming and pedaling (an extra 100B/hr) No other sports activities. In the evening, there was a sunset...

“Wifi from the lobby will reach the nearby rooms on the rafts and possibly hillside. Lake and River view rooms don't get wifi. River view rooms are most convenient to restaurant. If you need assistance (wheelchair for instance) then river view rooms are a must. There are a lot of stairs otherwise.”
