Really enjoyed this hotel and the area, reception was friendly and helpful, was upgraded to a suite because of my status from Marriott and it had a large patio and it was heavenly. Breakfast service and food was top notch. Beach club food wasn’t the best but I think that is separate from the hotel. Great memories.
We have stayed in the last six months 2 times at the Falisia and really like it. We will go there tomorrow again. Porto Piccolo is never crowded (which is in our mind a huge advantage). It's a place to perfectly relax. The beds at the beach club are very good and the view is amazing. We enjoyed the food at Cliff Restaurant, L'oro di Napoli and Kong very much. The Garage is a bit dark, but you are always able to find a parking spot and it is free of charge. The hotel is very nice, but what makes the real difference compared to other Luxury Collection Hotels is the kindness and helpfulness of the personell. Especially Beata from the Front desk is always friendly & always happy to help. She really tries to make every stay unforgettable. Beata is so committed and even helped us to get a Telepass. She is attentive to every wish. Beata really makes a difference!…
all is well made here - rooms are quite good - nice breakfast area - friendly helpful staff and nice sea view with short car-distance to Triest or other activities nearby - we were quite happy with our stay there - pool area is nice too as long as you dont have a need to catch up with someone at the nearby portopiccolo beach club which is not managed by the hotel itself - the nice thing is that the area is not flooded with people as it is mainly used from guests and residents of this area
Like most of the previous years we spent some days at the Falisia hotel. The hotel offers you an individual character that combines the high standards of a hotel chain with individual design and style way beyond the Mariott or Former Starwood „mainstream“. However, the pictures of previous reviews as well the official homepage draw a sound picture regarding elegance and style as well as the high class there. The only „negative“ point is indeed the counterside of the stylish outlook : there is not really much to do for children and quite distances to walk (from rooms to the beach). As the hotel is not focussed on family trips you can not really consider it for the ratings. I would rather like to focus on the people of the hotel that show every time great effort to host best possible. It starts with the (kids) friendly cleaning ladies and continues with all the staff we met so far. Our special thanks goes to Beata and the team, Ramon and Samer (Service Team / Cliff) that we know know already for a couple of years and always make our stay special.…
As other reviewers have stated, beautiful location and property. You can't go wrong. The stand out for us here was the professionalism of the hotel staff members. Our first interaction was a warm greeting by Lead Concierge, Piero. He provided us excellent recommendations for food spots and sightseeing in Trieste, a 30 minute drive down the coast. Also on the front desk, Beata made a lunch reservation for us at a hotel staff favorite, a small country restaurant a short drive away just near the Slovenian border. On property, both breakfast and dinner food selections where very good. Staff in the restaurant was excellent, Sofia at dinner, Michele the Sommelier, Samer at breakfast, and Debora the hotel bartender. There are choices of other hotels, but we'll certainly return to Falisia.…
We stayed here for two nights as we left Venice on our way to Slovenia. This was the perfect middle stop. It is beautiful, relaxing and almost surreal with the boats, cliffs and water. The staff right from the reception (Ramon, Alessio and another gentleman whose name I cannot remember) are extremely helpful. Ramon helped figure out where our driver was when he kept getting lost. There is extra attention here. The Slovenian lady who works at the restaurant (Debra?) also very kind. Bris Restaurant is also beautiful and service/food is on point. Max's restaurant is also worth a visit for the sunset. Fernando also helped us on our way to Trieste for an evening. We can't say enough. WORTH A STAY FOR A FEW DAYS!
The hotel is simply outstanding in every aspect. The location in the private bay with yacht club is sensational. Service from the welcome through the beach club and all restaurants is top notch. Most important, we had a perfect sleep as the beds - as always with Marriott - are the best in the industry. The rooms are so relaxing and the view (highly recommended to book a seaview room) is amazing. We already booked the next stay as a weekend feels like a week of vacation. Batteries recharged - thank you Falisia team!
The hotel is located in the small jewel Portopiccolo. It is a great location overlooking the marina and the sea. The hotel facilities are very nice, the beach club is amazing and breakfast is served in a charming terrace. The recpetion staff is extraordinary!
Premium hotel in a premium location. First thing - if you're driving to this resort, do not trust your GPS. It will direct you to the the wrong road which is gated and only for residents. The correct road is down Strada Provinciale 3 whose entrance is a couple of kilometers down the highway and is a twisty road down to the marina area. You'll need to drive past parking lots and businesses all the way to the end, where you'll still find a gate at a parking garage. However you'll see references to the resort and know you're in the right place. Given how the resort is built along a cliff, the parking garage is actually above the main reception area and you'll need to take an elevator down to check in. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful as you'd expect at a resort location like this. The room was clean and spacious with incredible views of the marina and sea. While I was only spending a night here I would have happily extended my stay to experience more of the area. They have an extensive spa that I would have loved to have taken advantage of. This is the kind of location that I like to use all those points from business travel and make it seem worthwhile. There are several restaurants and stores on the property and the nearby public beach has a number of small stands to pick up street food and snacks. Overall this was a great stay and highly recommend staying for a memorable visit.…
We stayed at the falisia 3 nights during the week. The rooms are perfect. We were Upgrades to a 2 bedroom suite. The breakfast is delicious. The beach club is a dream! The beach is stony but you will use the infinity pool anyways, since it’s colder. The people at the hotel and the beach club are great. There was only 1 thing, the staff was definitely “new” so a few weren’t fully trained. For example the concierge who showed us to our room got lost on the way, plus I am used that at least in case of a big suite I get a tour. It’s not the end of the world I now but I am used to it while staying at a luxury collection. Otherwise it’s a dream! It gets crowded during the weekends and apparently some “luxury” car tours use the spot as a stop over. They ruined a lot for us, but that’s not the fault of the hotel.…
