Interesting little motel in a backwater, which was just was I was looking for at the time. I stayed in unit 5, the smallest, and next time might try a larger unit. My main complaint is that there is not a single comfy chair on the deck to enjoy my book with a view. ALL the furniture was uncomfortable, inside...

Fantastic little beachcomber place in a town that's stuck in the 70's. Host Brian is an excellent source of information and very friendly. Rooms spotlessly clean an well appointed for a budget motel. Would highly recommend if you're seeking peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of Noosa. We will definitely return!

We stayed two nights at the Beach House, which is self-contained and has a covered deck which looks directly out over the lake. The accommodation was very comfortable and quiet (mid-week) and the owners were very friendly and helpful. It's pretty laid back and not luxurious or new, but well equipped with two bedrooms (two queens and a single), functional...

Boreen Point is about 1/2 hour from Tewantin, and if you want to get away from it all or If you are into Sailing, Wind Surfing, boating, or just a quiet weekend, this Motel is the place to come to. Owned by Mary and Brian, lovely people. There is no Restaurant or Room service here. But self contained rooms. The...

Unit 4 has no view. All amenities are provided. It is clean and tidy. Rooms are on the small size, with very small kitchen area which is right beside the shower, then the toilet. There is basically no where for luggage and only a very small cupboard for clothes. The small size of the room means one less star.

After discovering Noosa Head was as busy as central London, I headed north to find somewhere away from busy traffic and Boreen Point was perfect. When I first got there the motel was deserted, apart from the owners' dog. Rather than wait around, I headed down the hill to the lake. Wandering around the waterline I came across a large...

We spent a few days in the Beach House, which is part of the motel accommodation. This setting is magnificent, overlooking Lake Cootharaba (apologies for spelling). The Owners were extremely helpful and friendly and helped make our stay relaxing and memorable. The house was extremely clean and modern with very comfortable furniture and bedding.

One of the motorcycle groups that hubby rides with decided that a weekend at Boreen Point was a great idea. So we found ourselves there for two nights on the weekend just past. Most of the group booked into the pub up the road, but we decided we needed a bit more luxury than shared bathrooms, so we booked ourselves...

The Beach House is ideal for friends or families. Fully self contained with enough of everything. Has a large covered deck overlooking the lake. Walking distance to all local facilities. Definitely worth many return stays.

Travelling around southeastern Queensland looking for photogenic landscapes in out of the way places we stayed at Lake Cootharaba Motel for one night. The lake is indeed picturesque and the area very quiet in winter. Eaten alive by mosquitoes in the adjacent park while waiting for the motel owner to return from walking her dogs. Room 5 is small and...
