This rustic bed and breakfast with restaurant attached is a little piece of heaven! We had one night here on our way through Italy and definitely made a good decision. The welcome was warm and thankfully in English. Our room was large with every comfort and the breakfast buffet served right next door. The property is up a hill offering panoramic views over the area and it is worth the short steep walk up to the hamlet above for even more stunning scenery. There’s a pool but we didn’t swim as it was a tad chilly the day we stayed.
We ate a delicious meal in the restaurant and benefited from the lovely waitress explaining in English what the dishes were along with a wine recommendation to accompany them.
The bed and breakfast is about 5km out of Acqui Terme up a steep winding road but worth being out of the town for the peace and quiet. Can thoroughly recommend!

This is a place to stay for several nights or weekends as it is special. The views over Piedmont are splendid. We only had one night on our recent trip but what a splendid place. Our large, comfortable, and modern room had a "garden view"" looking up at the swimming pool. It included a desk, two chairs (one used for luggage), a luggage rack, large wardrobe with many real hangers, AC, good lighting, and adequate wifi. The large bathroom had a wonderful shower, slippers, soaps, tissues, shaving items, toothbrushes, and other amenities. There were 2 sets of cotton towels. The breakfast area in this upper building had a fridge with water, sodas, and a coffee machine for our use. We did not use the pool. Getting to the Relais required negotiating a windy road up the hill from Acqui Terme which we would not want to do in the dark. We had a very restful sleep.
Dining on the terrace was delightful. Following the amuse bouche of chickpeas, we each had a pasta (I had the ravioli), followed by duck for my husband and a large plate of cheese for me. The breads and breadsticks were delicious. We did not need dessert. Our host recommended a local wine.
In the morning, we had breakfast in the breakfast area, fixing ourselves coffee, prosciutto, cheese, and fruit before departing.
Advice: Pay for dinner and the room the night before you leave. No one is up early in the morning.
We would definitely stay here again and for more than one night when visiting the Piedmont! A jewel.

We were looking for 3 days of just relaxation with an 8 year old and we succeeded! Room suitable for hosting a family: spacious, comfortable and clean with direct access to the garden and swimming pool (paradise for our child)
