been in this hotel twice now. it remains a good experience. amazing food, very good beer, and what a lovely location! next to the river, with some amazing gardens. I have to say that the beds are made for small people. other than that, the rooms were comfortable. plenty of parking for the bikes.

a place where you can unwind. more of a base to explore other places i found but if you want to sit next to the river and enjoy a book this is the place. the restaurant was a good choice and the service very friendly. the bar staff also helpful.

Great location on the river & just over the border from France. Only stayed one night at end of short driving trip in France/Belgium, and it was a good location from which to explore the Ardennes region. There is a real 'wow' factor as you approach the Castel and a warm welcome once inside - had a room in the...

Nice 'castle' in a very nice domain. However, our room was average quality. Not the type of room you expect after seeing the exterior of the hotel. Food was also average. Not bad but also not special. Service is good and friendly. The surroundings of the hotel are fantastic and a fantastic to make beautiful walks. We walked the la...

Gave this a "very good" for: location - easy driving access to great spots in Southern Belgium, beautiful big property on a river - and ease of staying here with our dogs. Very dog (and kid) friendly. Big property to play and run around. Also a great selection of local beers in the bar and mostly great service. Things we...

Great location right next to the river Meuse, the Castel Les Sorbiers is a lovely hotel with basic but spacious and clean rooms, definitively recommended for a pleasant stay in the Ardennes area. The staff is especially nice and welcoming, a nice surprise.

It's situated in a beautiful park. The room is average, nothing special. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is ok, nothing special. But the gastronomic diner was bad, I think the cook was on holiday and perhaps it was a student who was cooking diner.

Nice surroundings and great to wake up with birds after a hard day. Beautifull garden and situated on the river Meuse. Peoples are smiling and are welcoming. But paying that price for old fashioned room and basic breakfast isn't interesting. -20% would be a better price for this family owned beautifull old big house

Located on the upper  Meuse near Dinant in an idyllic, 18 acre setting amidst the Ardennes, the "Castel les Sorbiers" is a beautiful old building.  The rooms in the villa/castel are charming and confortable. The rooms in the annex are more modern and not as nice.  I wonder if we got there at a bad time for the restaurant? The restaurant was far from being...

We stayed here for one night on a dreamlike stay with dinner and breakfast which was excellent value for money. The hotel is really pretty and located in stunning grounds on the River Lesse with sun loungers and benches dotted around the grounds to enjoy the peace and tranquility. A terrace off the bar with beautiful views was ideal for...
