Stayed at the Governors bungalow. The view point is just behind. As government run this hotel is probably your only choice for a decent stay at Horsely hills. We found it quite expensive for the facilities provided as the rooms were big enough for 2 adults only. With 2 children it was a tough fit. No beddings were provided. Service...

This resort is the only place to stay while you are here . The resort spread in a vast area , so be prepare to walk around a great deal . For room tariffs are high but services are pathetic - no intercoms in rooms to reception - makes it hard to ski for towels / food etc. one has...

We took.the cottages at this place for an.over night stay. First.thing.you like about this place is that it is very huge...a lot of places to walk around and explore..There is a sunset spot , which is beautiful but watch your steps as this place was full of broken glass pieces (ark work of some irresponsible vandalists!!). The cottages are very...

I was here with my friends for weekend, the cottage type rooms were cosy, chilly along with beautiful view. The rooms were not that clean but that was because of the surrounding ambiance and weather. The Sunrise point as awesome along with the adventure activities they had. The swimming pool was small but we enjoyed a lot.

Visited Horsley hills over weekend qih family and had reserved room at Haritha resort from APTDC. First off, Horsley hills is a fantastic place to unwind, an offbeat place to lay low far away from the hustle bustle of the city. The main attraction of this place is the silence and greenery. The drive uphill through the lush green forest...

We were a group of 8 families who wanted a quick get away on a week end. We planned for Horsley as it was only 160 kms from Bangalore, a good 3.5 hours drive. The room are above average and the climate was good.

On a recent visit; we stayed at forest guesthouse, but dined at Haritha. The best one could ask for in a remote location. They have buffet for breakfast and lunch, the food is delicious and economical. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. There is more nothing you could ask for; given that it is a state govt run property...

First, there is really nothing in Horsely. The whole village is within a 2 kms radius. There is AP tourism resort (Haritha), police department resort, forest department resort (this a small zoo which can be covered in 20 mins) & a private resorts. Who wants to see resorts? This place is only good for a day picnic with lot of...

- We stayed at Governor's bungalow - A big room with AC, tv, geyser, a mini refrigerator and a cosy bed. - Perfect for a one night stay - Must visit place around Bangalore - Restaurant is too costly for the location, not worth the money you pay. Lunch is nice, but dinner is costly and does not taste good...

Visited horseley hills by road from Bangalore and stayed at the aptdc resort there for one night during July. Route: Hoskote - Chintamani - B.Kothakota - Horseley Hills. The final 50kms or so is through country roads with sections of bad patches. Otherwise, rest of the drive is smooth - decent roads with manageable traffic. Took us about 4 hrs...
