As an overnight stop this proved to be a good find. The room was spacious and clean, the setting memorable. We sat beside the river for our evening meal gazing at the ducks while eating an imaginative and reasonably priced meal. My one complaint would be that the wine list was pretentious and very over priced. A towpath walk at...

Very average. We arrived on Sunday afternoon just as lunch was finishing. No food, even a snack available. When we asked for a coffee at least, we were told that the machine was being cleaned so nothing. No kettle or tea/coffee maker in room. Only evening meal possibility was a restaurant some half-mile away. It was excellent but quite expensive....

Nice hotel. Our room was clean and very spacious. Our bathroom had been upgraded, was modern and nicely tiled. Very comfortable bed. Evening meal was really good. Exceptionally good - I ate too much.! Very high standard of cooking and despite only having a few rooms the dining room was packed with locals so that says it all. The setting...

I liked this hotel, it's a small logis with only five rooms and really does have that personal touch. Our room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. It's not a modern hotel, probably more suited to a relaxing break than those on business. The riverside situation adds to the relaxed feel of the place. The restaurant is worth...
