This was our second visit to the campsite this year. Yes it's next to the main road but we hardly noticed the noise at all. A quiet, basic but well maintained site, and the small shower block was clean throughout our stay. We like this site as there's a regular bus service into both Cambridge & Ely, which is great...

We booked in to what is claimed to be a touring park, with nice descriptions and photos. Upon arrival we were greeted by workmen, the owners were away. It soon became apparent that this site is as its previous name suggests a travellers or workmans site !!!! The site was full of workmen in yellow vests, definitely not a relaxing...

Thought we would try the American Steakhouse for the first time , would not go back. The food was not hot enough and considering it is cooked to order,( and the time that you wait for it proves that it is ) we expected it to be very hot food, the plates were cold though, which won't have helped, maybe...

Carvery gammon was not cooked - roast potatoes underdone, all vegetables also very underdone. Billed for 5 adult meals when there were 2 children of 6 and 3 eating and it was a struggle to get the bill reduced. Also charged £1.50 for a fruit shoot when the 3 year old's drink was actually squash. Needless to say we won't...

We spent a weekend camping here in a tent. The site was small, there were caravans, camper-vans and tents using the site. The site was very tidy and well maintained, it was also very flat which was good for tents. There was electricity if we wanted it for a small extra charge. The facilities were very clean , the toilets...

This is the worst experience I have had. Got there with my family and no one came over to seat us we had to go to the bar and from there we were seated. Ordered some drinks, and once they came over there was food on the glasses - not clean. We then ordered our food. Took ages to come...

We unfortunately made the mistake of visiting the Travellers Rest on a quite weekday evening. This restaurant has been closed for a while and has recently reopened as an American themed steak house. I first had a suspicion that this experience was not going to go well when the scruffily dressed waitress approached our table to take our drinks order...

Went for lunch with a friend, had the 8oz rump, cooked just to my taste, I didnt want the fried egg or tomato and was offered a choice of replacement, I asked for coleslaw, a very full plate , very tasty. They have only been open a very short time and I will certainly be going again. Going to try...

I work just down the road from this place and a small group of us thought we would try it out. We were VERY disappointed. It clearly states they are open for Lunch but we were told when we were ready to order our food that we would have to wait as they were not ready to take orders yet,...
