Just got back from a 4night stay. Hotel was great much better than expected room spotlessly clean. Plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 small kids including travel cot 2 buggies and 5 days worth of winter clothes and snow suits!

There's a petrol station at the Santa Fe hotel that sells food and there is a little shop at the train station near the entrance of the parks that also sells snacks and cheaper drinks. There's also water fountains around the parks.
You can take your own food in with you but not in a massive picnic hamper or whatever so most people just take them in a reusable shopping bag or throw bits in a backpack like we're going to do. They have a picnic area for you to sit and eat your own food so it's not forbidden. We saw a family a few years ago with packed lunch boxes which was cute.
