Margherita is a warm and welcoming place, very spacious, suitable for hosting a family or a group of friends. It is well equipped and has a beautiful balcony. The welcome and availability were among the best. Roccetta Fiorita is a must stop not far from the long lake! We will definitely return. THANK YOU:)

Fantastic value for money for this incredible property 5 minutes from Orta San Giulio.

Our room was the cheapest but still very spacious, clean and with a very comfortable bed.

The bathroom is also spacious and the shower has excellent pressure.

Friendly and extremely helpful owner.

Advised!

Fantastic!!! I don't usually write reviews, but Roccetta fiorita and it's staff certainly deserve a review of high praise. The hotel was a little tough to find initially as you can't drive to the door and have to park around the corner. Once I parked and decided to find the hotel on foot, I discovered that I was to be staying in a little part of old Italy. This walk to and from my car each day just add to the charm of the place, as the views down to the lake are stunning. The hotel itself is great with a lovely little court yard in the middle. The rooms are very nice and mine had a small kitchen area which was fantastic. The room was very clean and a really nice little haven after a long day. The staff, what can I say about the staff. They were fantastic. I was initially greeted by a lovely lady, who despite not speaking a word of English made me more than welcome. She greeted me with a small tub of peaches which she must have just picked herself, a glass of wine and some small Italian biscuits. Every morning as I went out I enjoyed my conversations with this lady despite us not understanding each other, when I would see her as she cleaned the rooms. The chef of the little restaurant there was always helpful when I spoke with him and would always say hello. All of the staff couldn't have been anymore helpful. I was at lago d'orta for a friend's wedding and upon leaving to head home, I stupidly left my suits hanging in the wardrobe of my room. The staff were amazing, and helped arrange for a friend of mine who was still in Italy to collect them for me. They kept in touch with me via text messages so I knew they had found my suits and help arrange for collection. They even offered to send the suits if my friend was not able to collect them. For this I am very grateful to them. Lago d'orta is a beautiful place to go and I hope to go back soon. I will definitely be staying at Roccetta fiorita again if they will have me.

Roccetta Fiorita with its Osteria was a treasure for us off the lake and off usual tourist routes, yet having all reachable for day trips: lakes, pittoresque areas, nature and culture. Most we enjoyed hiking in the surrounding valleys and in the nearby Alps! Roccetta Fiorita was our base for two weeks and each evening we enjoyed returning to this traditional yet completely renovated Italian house where we found all what charmed us: an all containing apartment, a fantastic Italian cuisine and most of all a warm hospitality.

The holiday apartments and rooms in this quaint old house are all accessed via an internal courtyard and wooden walkways. it's a bit like staying in a tiny castle. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, though having some knowledge of Italian will help. The hamlet is very quiet and so good night's sleep is pretty well guaranteed. Be aware this is an old property and there is no aircon.

We spent an evening at this delightful Bed and Breakfast, located in the picturesque village of Crabbia by Pettanasco on Lago D'Orta. Upon arriving, our hostess offered us a glass of Prosecco- it was such a welcoming gesture, and we immediately felt at home. The apartment was delightful and exceeded our expectations; it was bright, modern, clean and equipped with a small kitchenette. The room was above a quaint courtyard, which we came to discover is steeped in history. Our hostess, was extremely friendly, attentive, helpful and made our experience all the more special with her enthusiasm and positive energy. We will definitely be back to discover the Osteria, which we heard is first-rate.

As an accompanying spouse on my husband's conference attendance at nearby C'entro D'Ompio, I spent a few days at this charming inn in the lush lakeside village of Crabbia by Pettanasco on Lago D'Orta. We were at home in our two room apartment above a pleasant courtyard. I ate as often as I could at the popular Osteria San Martino, which served me my requested delicious gluten-free vegetarian dinners. And I walked the twisting roads past quaint churches, traditional houses, and beautiful gardens with blooming flowers and bushes, hedgehogs, and sheep that trimmed the lawns. Our hostess, Giselle, the chef, and wait staff at the Osteria were always friendly, helpful, and active in making our stay comfortable and fun. (They also offered us their WiFi al fresco, at the courtyard table.) We felt truly welcomed and cared for.

We stayed in Roccetta Fiorita for four nights and were absolutely thrilled with our stay. Our hosts, Sebastiano, Elena,Federica, Matteo and 'Bella' Gisella were most helpful and friendly. Our self catering apartment was really lovely with quality appliances. We dined in the restaurant below for two nights and was blown away by the quality of the food. Sebastiano is an excellent chef who is only too happy to help with menu selection and show you the spotless kitchen! The beef carpaccio is to die for. Crabbia is quaint and charming - we loved Lake Orta because it was not as commercial as the other big lakes. Great area for walking and exploring. Free car park close to the hotel.
