Detailed Reviews

Worst stay of our whole southeastasian trip so far!
Rooms are a little bit overcharged with 70.000kip for a bunker like room. Maybe it adds up to the Vienxay caves experience.
Although the female owner seemed to understand some English, we realized that absolutely noone in the guesthouse understands at least one english word.
We decided to let them take care of our laundry as they have a proud price for that. After several disappointing laundry services in Laos we hoped for something professional. We needed almost half an hour to explain her that we need to have the laundry back the same day as we were leaving the town the next day. In the evening there was only a young boy at the reception desk, the owners children watching TV in the lobby and only half of our laundry. It took 45min of gesturing, showing, drawing and the help of another hotel owner to explain the boy what our issue is. He looked several times for our stuff but was more interested in his smartphone. After additional 15min the woman came downstairs. Meanwhile one of the daughters peed on the lobbyfloor. She knew gave us the laundry and we discovered that some of our clothes were still dirty and had some nice reddish patches everywhere. We wanted at least our money for the service back but she got really angry and turned around and cursed for a while. There was nothing we could do...
Don't stay here! We were just to lazy to move to another place and thought it might be okay... Not!
