Not the most attractive building outside, but inside it was very clean and well presented. The manager was at reception and was both polite and helpful. The room and bed were of the usual standard and provided a good nights sleep. Just my usual 2 complaints - no plug sockets next to the bed meaning getting up to turn off...

Great location, can walk few hundred metres and have a great breakfast at Frankie & Bennys! Room was basic but clean and great. I found the hotel to be very quiet and slept well. Alll in all, great value for money.

Great value for money. Room small but quiet, cosy and very clean. Upon arrival there was only one towel but reception happily gave us another. Second stay here (visiting family) and will come again. Highly recommend.

One of the better Travelodge that I have stayed in and wholly recommended for a value for money place to stay in Sunderland. Nice room, excellent staff and comfortable bed. Close to railway station and town centre.

Extremely good value for money. Thinking of using it as base now rather than stay in Newcastle and pay over the odds as there is a very good train service running relatively late between the two cities.

Small desk, complete with bottle opener, plastic chair, kettle and tea/coffee, Very noisy from street if window was open. Small shower room (smallest shower Iv'e ever used) some guests would struggle to use it with the curtain closed, Price is ok, reception spot...

Visiting in Sunderland and our stay at high street west was flawless. Most defiantly be staying with them again Parking is not the greatest but other than that, perfect. Just far enough from night life that it was quiet enough to get a decent sleep . thank you
