I chose the Alfreton Travelodge because of the reasonable price; the excellent service and pleasant rooms were great value and could not have been bettered. As a 69 year old woman travelling alone I felt absolutely secure, had a good night's sleep and was thoroughly well cared for.

Beds were so very uncomfortable. Family room, Double bed too soft. Both singles rock hard in fact painfully hard! and there were Brown marks on the tiles opposite the toilet that I can only hope we're not what they appeared to be Premier or similar next time for us. Cheap is not always value

The room was clean and comfortable. Needs some tlc to the rest of the hotel and car park. You get what you pay for! Did what we needed it for. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THE LITTLE CHEF! Needs a good clean!!!

Travelodge is generally of the same standard. It is basic but clean, tidy appropriately priced accommodation. Little Chef and Burger King are within the same building for those who need feeding. This caters for the fast food fans and those of us who like a traditional English breakfast at a reasonable cost. All very convenient

Easily accessible from the main road network on a service area which is actually a filling station and Little Chef. The entrance is poorly defined and the state of the road to the large car park is deplorable. The entrance way carries reminders to the smokers not to throw their rubbish on the floor outside the building. That is the...

The staff were very helpful the lady on reception printed us of a map to somewhere we wanted to go. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The travel lodge was well located with a burger king and little chef attached. There was also a free car park.

This was perfect for me, far far cheaper than anywhere in the Peak District where I was walking the next day. Easy to find, rooms as good as I've come to expect from Travelodge. There is a Little Chef in the same building so breakfast was nice and close! Burger King also in the same building. Will definitely use this...

We decided to have a family night away, with no where in mind we decided to have a look on the travelodge to see where was avaliable and this one came up, fpr a ridiculously low price too. Now dont get me wrong, it is no 5 star, but for what we paid it was brilliant! Our family room had...
