A great hotel located in the center of Nagoya. I arrived a few hours before the official check-in time but was given a room within ten minutes! The room was equipped with a fridge, microwave and a hot plate for cooking. Pots and pans, plates and cutlery were also provided. The was some dust on the carpet . When I called room service, a young man arrived within minutes and quickly vacuumed the room. The bathroom was clean and equipped with shampoo, body wash, toothbrush and toothpaste. The towels were somewhat old and needed to be bleached but they were clean. There was a water cooler outside the room and I did not have to buy bottled water. The breakfast buffet was decent. The hotel is a little old but I think it is good value.
The Nagoya Hill mall is only a 10 minute walk away from the hotel It's the place to go if you need to change money, shop, eat or have a massage.

I am satisfied with the good quality of the room and cleanliness. The restaurant is also good. The helpfulness of the staff at the reception and in the restaurant is excellent. There is also the possibility of using a small but well-kept swimming pool and a massage service.

Room had musty smell when entered and pillow smells. I understand that it's due to covid and hence businesses are on halt etc etc. However, to keep the high standard of a 4 stars hotel. I believe smells are a big no no 😳 and p/s: I didn't dare sleep cos of the smells and it somehow make me feel everything is yucky 😰 sorry

We stayed in Harmoni Suites Hotel from 7 to 8 March 2015 in rooms 328 & 329. Our stay was totally marred as there were bed bugs which kept us awake and scratching the whole night. I will not recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family after this experience.

We , four of us stayed for one night through booking.com on 23.2.15 based on the past good reviews . Alas it was a great disappointment to us. First they have no twin beds on the high floor, except on 2nd and 3 rd floor, and those non smoking floor only provides king beds ( ? more likely queen bed). The lobby is tiny for a 4 stars hotel, and its ambience lacks of comfort. Even they had very little number of guests on that day, we were not allowed to check in as they claimed the beds were not ready till 2.00 p.m.The rooms were a bit tiny too quite crowded, and the lights were dim . On the pros sides, room was clean, and good distance from Nagoya shopping centre. If I have the chance to visit Batam again, I won't stay here again for the price I paid. Their phone communication to the reception etc were poor. There are many others better one, last I stayed one closed to Batam Ferry Port, cheaper and definitely better in every way.

We stayed at this hotel during Chinese New Year (CNY) from 18-20 Feb. The room cost us 1,500,000 rupiah for 2 nights online.
1. Location The Hotel's location is great, just 3 mins walk to Nagoya Hill (the mall) via the Hotel's back door. The route via the back door is safe enough. Opposite the Hotel is a Mosque.
2. The room The room is adequate. There's a comfy bed and 2 pillows (we asked for 2 extra), a safe box, clean towels, bathtub, toiletries, great tv channels and the Hotel replenishes 2 bottles of mineral water each day. The hotel and it's room however smelled of cigarette smoke. People smoke freely even along the corridors just outside the rooms.
3. Breakfast The breakfast buffet spread is ok, the staff were all smiles and courteous. But you need to be up early. We arrived late at 9:30am on Day 2 and the food were mostly gone. They didn't replenish the food even after the patrons informed them so. They also extended breakfast till11am due to CNY but frankly, what's the point? We were obviously disappointed as we had forked out 70,000rupiah for each kid as well. The management should look into the replenishing of the food.
4. Pool, gym and table tennis The swimming pool, the gym and the table tennis are all situated on the 7th floor. The pool is however too small for a swim, more for a dip. The water was not clean, probably due to the renovation works next to it. We enjoyed a few games of table tennis.
5. Stalls and Fireworks If you exit by the back door, you will see some food stalls including one which sells fireworks. The stall selling the fireworks open in the evening. We got a set of 4 fireworks which shoots 8 rounds each for 100,000 rupiah. If you happen to play one, play it in an open area. The shots recoil so hold it strong faced upwards and ensure there are no electricity lines running above. Safety first.
6. Seafood In front of Nagoya Hill (the mall) were a few stalls selling seafood. We ordered the bbq fish (130,000 rupiah) which was quite nice. We didn't get the name of the fish but it was tender and fresh.
7. Late checkout The Hotel arranges a taxi to Batam Centre for 85,000 rupiah. We extended our check out till 1pm. You can extend till 6pm at 500,000rupiah.
8. Kerepek (crackers), Jeruk (preserved fruits) & Night Market You can't head home without bringing back ole-ole (souveniers) from Batam. The street on Puja Bahari sells lots of these at affordable prices e.g. kerepek uni jagung/cheese for 30,000rupiah for a packet of 500g.
Next to Puja Bahari at Jodoh holds the night market. It opens about 5pm. Probably a place to walk down if you haven't much to do. There is a Mosque nearby worth a visit for photo shoots or a prayer.
9. Restoran Pak Datok @ Batam Centre The Restoran is not in Batam Ferry Terminal itself but near it. Take a cab there if you are unsure. The taxi driver will know this place. You must sample Padang food here. They serve about 10+ plates of dishes on your table and you just eat and pay for the dishes you like. The food here is pretty good.

I'm sorry to have to be so negative from the get go, but for 80$ singapore dollars a night I expected a bit more. Room was big and basic -bed comfortable however the cover was stained. Breakfast was total joke, the taste is not really good. To be fair, the place isn't bad if you're a backpacker who has been around Singapore (like we have) and seen crazy stuff -it is luxury! but we were on a relaxing trip and unfortunately this just didn't go well. A shame as the place has wonderful potential with an amazing garden and beautiful setting.

I booked just a few days before my trip for my fiancé's birthday and they were able to accommodate to my request of having balloons in e room when we arrived & cake delivered at midnight (all these available on their website upon booking). Do note that you'll pay for your room only upon checking out even though they ask for your credit card details when booking.
Hotel was better than we'd imagined and staffs are professional when checking us in.
Hotel is mainly carpeted. Room is big enough (walls aren't paper thin) and has a kitchenette right behind the door. Our toilet has a bathtub & everything was clean! Smoking room & level but it didn't really smell bad. Room service is 24hours & prices are really affordable. Swimming pool (awesome looking) and gym is on level 7.
Breakfast was a good spread of food; we thoroughly enjoyed it. Do come early though.
Hotel is situated just few mins away from Nagoya Hill (use the back gate which is open 24hours). Plenty of street food around the area and a convenience store too.
Will definitely recommend this hotel! :D

For the cheap room rate, this hotel should be given an excellent rating. I do not see why some are particular with minor details when you are only paying like $40+/night? Oh c'mon! The room is big. They have a mini kitchen with basic utensils should you want to cook. Beds are comfy. Pillow was so so. They even give bolsters . Service is excellent. Full of smiles and very helpful (from front desk to security to housekeeping to cafe!). They gave us an early check in and late check out. Breakfast was good for the price we have paid for the room (actually when we booked thru Agoda, we were under the opinion that there was no breakfast as there was no indication but to our pleasant surprise it was included in the room rates, YAY!). They have opened a spa in the top floor. Prices seem reasonable compared to the exorbitant prices the spas are offering near Nagoya mall (i would rather fly to Bali than to pay this much in Batam for spa sessions!!!). My friend went for the spa and she mentioned it was good. The hotel as a small gym corner, table tennis and small pool (which no one was using and there was very quiet). There is also a pub in the hotel. You can rent DVDs for free. They have books for rental too. You can also bring your movies (usb perhaps?) to watch in the room. It is about 20mins drive from Sekupang Ferry terminal (about IDR100,000 for taxi one way). You can walk down to Nagoya mall from the hotel’s back exit. Just beware of the heavy traffic while crossing the roads. The roads are a bit uneven too. The hotel staff were really very good. When we checked out, the female front desk staff helped us with our luggage to the taxi. When we wanted to tip her she refused to take it saying its hotel policy! Wow. I will definitely stay in this hotel if i get back to Batam. I think this is a perfect hotel for couples and friends.
