First of all. The staff is great. The hotel itself however is a disaster. The rooms are dusty and the interior is very worn out. Most of the sinks and tubs don't drain properly. During summer it gets so hot that it's impossible to sleep. During winter the rooms get very cold because there is no heating in the room. You have to ask for a small portable heater of you want heat. All the rooms that are facing the highway are super noisy, it sounds like the windows are open even when closed.

Place is falling apart and bad for health and safety. Before I write my experience, I would highly commend the staff who go out of way to help. I stayed during Summer 2023 at the peak Heat Wave. There is an ongoing issue with Air Conditioning and it is terrible to have no air conditioning working when temperatures are so high that you cannot sleep at night. I have stayed for business along with most of my colleagues and it became more and more difficult because Movnpick Air Conditioning is not being fixed at all by the company. At the time of writing review, it is almost December, since air conditioning is still an issue, every single room is extremely cold. Staff is trying to provide extra blankets and heaters, which is adhoc. I have decided not to stay at Movnpick anymore. The staff is extremely accommodating and understanding, they try their best to help customers. The place has become a health and safety hazard in absence of the basic facilities for their staff and their customers. …

Good and very clean hotel with free shuttle to Zurich Airport which takes barely 5 minutes. Nice room with comfortable bed and especially the bar offers great service and good working conditions. The perfect spot if you need to stay overnight at Zurich airport.

The room service menu and the restaurant menu is not good at all and they have few options. More than the food is the alcoholic drinks. And as people come here to rest and also the location is far from the city center, I suggest to have a better options in the menu. Also the room service answers the phone too late

As an Accor gold member we stay in a LOT of hotels and this one was such a disappointment. From the extremely surly unhelpful reception staff to the outdated rooms my 2 stars are only allocated to the lovely man on breakfast duty who checks your room number and the costa express machines at breakfast! Even the chef wouldn’t make fresh omelettes instead directing everyone to ready made omelettes sweating it out in a bain marie - yuck! So all in all our breakfast consisted of toast & jam! Hey ho! Handy for the airport and also the train into Zurich but wouldn’t stay here again for love nor money! Did I say the staff were miserable? Don’t think I can say that enough! What a sad end to a lovely holiday….. No welcome as an Accor member although we did receive our drinks voucher from the miserable woman checking us in.…

We took a tour of Switzerland and the Movenpick was the first hotel we stayed in. We arrived after 24 hours of travel around 11AM and the hotel receptionist informed us that we could not get into our room until the entire tour group had arrived, even though our room was ready. We had to wait in the lobby for over 4 hours to get our room. When we were finally allowed to go to our room, the room itself was subpar. Our room flooded in the evening and we had to be moved. I would NOT recommend this hotel. I have given feedback to the tour company we used as well. The Movenpick didn’t seem to want us there and we will never go back.

The Hotel is horrible. Very old room, with a bad smell inside, probably from the carpet. Air Conditioning is broken, so it is enormously hot in the room, cannot even sleep. When asked to change the room to a room with working A/C, the answer was, whole A/C system is broken, so all rooms are like that. Cleanliness of the room is also questionable, as there are hairs everywhere, spider nets in the corners and so on. So try to avoid this hotel!

Were forced to stay overnight when Swiss airlines cancelled our flight. Had to wait 25 mins for the minivan to pick us up. Restaurant was already closed, got a can of chips offered as dinner instead. Our 2 rooms were both super hot. Aircon ventilator is super noisy and despite the decibels booming all night…it didn’t cool down the room.

Good Hotel near to airport. Rooms are decent but aircon was not working and they provided one tiny table fan for 3 pax. The water is super expensive 5 francs. So do buy water at super market before heading to hotel. They have shuttle service to airport which is super useful but shuttle staff was very rude to a fellow passenger.
