There is no benefit to power cuts. Some people boast that it is a big game of chess. What is even more ridiculous is that many people think it is a killer move across a certain country. There is no conspiracy theory in China's power cuts. It is just a lack of electricity and coal. In short supply, dual control of energy consumption. There is an energy crisis all over the world, and the power supply in Europe and the United States is controlled by various private companies

The place is easy to find and located nearby Sheffield town. Alan provide easy check-in and when we arrived they even indicated our surname at the entrance of the lovely cottage. There are many animals in the farm that we seen such as yark, horse, chickens, wallaby and rabbits etc. There is an activity center located near our cottage, inside got different gaming consoles, snooker tables and movies to keep us occupied. The cottage wifi signal is good, with heater and the bed is soft, we have a good sleep for the night, highly recommended and the vintage feel is just awesome.

We stayed two nights in the house with bedroom on a mezzanine floor. It was very clean and comfortable. There were storms the first night, but we felt dry warm and secure and woke up in the morning to find snow outside our door. The garden needed a good clean up, and there was no shampoo/conditioner (which I hadn't counted on), but otherwise it's a lovely quiet country place to stay and an easy drive to Sheffield with nice cafe's and food outlets.

A review 8 months ago says the spa wasn’t working. It still isn’t.

The place has been seriously neglected. The gym equipment and kids bikes look like they have all been taken from someone’s hard garbage pile. Bikes rusted and flat tyres, gym equipment faulty. Even the basketball and soccer balls are worn/flat. The pool table, the cues are worn and there is no chalk. The sauna isn’t working.
The cottage we stayed in had broken window and busted hinges on cupboards, the smoke detector isn’t working. The tree house is covered in grime.

The washing machine lint filter was blocked with mouldy lint and I had to clean it.

There is a DVD box in the games room with a sign which says to put dvds in here if they aren’t working. The box is full and this gives a good indication of how much time and effort the owners put into maintaining the place.

The staff member gives you the wifi access and outright acknowledges how bad it is. It’s 2022, if you are going to provide wifi make it work otherwise it just annoys people.

You will see their Facebook page does not allow reviews and seldom has any interaction from any clients.

The place has been let go and for near on $300 a night, it is seriously over priced for the almost ghetto like facilities.

I would come back if the price was about 1/3rd of what it is because despite the condition of the place, I think my naive children enjoyed it.

Like others have said, the view is amazing and the staff member is friendly but that’s about as good as it’s going to get.

Most people are happy to part with money for good quality and service. If you are one of these people, you are going to be very disappointed.

Very unfortunate as the right business owner could turn this place into something very very special, which it appears it once was.

The property is quite run down. It's a 1 hr drive to cradle mountain and a very windy drive as well. I was honestly scard as I was travelling with my 4 yr old daughter. Didnt see a soul around the property and even a few kms down the road. The property entrance had logs all over and if you dont read the signs properly you may think noone ever stays in this property. I managed to call couple of other places where they offered the same price which was a 10 min drive to cradle. I didnt get any refund u fortunately even though I think I deserved it considering there were 4 to 5 big spiders in the room that I didnt sign up too !! All the furniture was quite old and dated. It felt like this property could come down at any moment!! See it for yourself if you dont believe me !!

Also despite being a popular time for tourists most of the properties around had quite a lot of guests but this accommodation was practically empty. The sofas had dust on them.

Scary!!

The staff were friendly and helpful but this property needs maintenance. Many facilities that were advertised could not be used because of neglect and damage. It would be better not to advertise features such as mini golf and bikes as they are in a state of disrepair. Our beds were comfortable but maintenance is also needed inside the cabin we booked. We feel it is overpriced for what is offered at this property.

We booked this place because we wanted an accommodation that was near cradle mountain. Sadly, it fell well below our expectations. there had obviously been a resent storm, which had brought many trees down across the property. When we arrived at our cabin, which was 'gum nut' i heard my daughter state loudly that she would be sleeping in the car, i didn't blame her, but, after a walk through the paddock, meeting the donkeys, two bulls and a very large horse. We returned and did some more exploring, many bikes lined up in a row, flat tires with mouldy, rusty, frames. The games room had a few play stations, broken bookshelves with stacks and piles of DVD's and VHS tapes. the sauna was very dark and dirty, the spa was waterless, dark and musty. we sad game of connect four, spoiler alert it was broken and we had to tip it upside don to get the tokens out :(
Overall, i wouldn't come again, it is NOT worth the money. It was like going back in time and staying in your grandmas caravan. We did think about leaving and trying to find somewhere else but we were miles from anywhere. Thank god we brought some food we could heat up.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 storey cabin.
This place is not well maintained. It is very shabby with broken blinds and carpet so old it has become “crunchy”. The bed was comfortable, sheets were clean but towels were well past their use by date.
We were not provided with milk or coffee for first night and place is 20 minutes away from nearest village.
Second bedroom had to be accessed via a narrow spiral staircase. Not great if you have to get up at night to use the loo.
Bathroom is down some stairs which are uneven and dangerous. Shower was mouldy.
Comfortable lounges with a gas fire.
No effort is put into maintaining the place. The photos on the website do not accurately reflect the standard of the place.

I honestly don’t know how this accomodation is fit for purpose? The number of patch ups and areas of concern is staggering. The activity room is unkept, outdated and a maze of broken mess and yet there are creepy CCTV’s watching you? My kids slipped over numerous times outside on the artificial grass which was covered in dirt and slime. The graveyard of bikes is worrying, when were these last serviced? Internally, there are so many old pieces of dangerous furniture and dated pieces of equipment not to mention the endless use of power boards. The poor horse and donkeys looked lost as they navigate their way over the broken glass. Despite an amazing trip to Tasmania this part will sadly leave a very depressing nightmare for me and my family. 😥

2 storey 2 bedroom cottage is dated, shabby and has dangerous stairs onto bathroom.
Several of the venetian blinds were missing slats, there was no handrail at front steps nor into bathroom. Lounge and TV were fine, beds adequate .One bedroom is in the loft accessed by a spiral staircase. If you have mobility issues give this property a miss
