The lady who worked on the desk at 7.30 pm on 30/5 was fab she was friendly and very accommodating and sorted out a fan very promptly. Highly recommend. Even with windows open wasn’t noisy, Only issue we had is son had a shower and water bounced off wall and onto floor even with shower curtain closed properly.

I checked in with my family after a long day out at theme park. Hotel in a great location so was using it as a base to visit family and do two theme park days. Then in the hallway was told by another guest that there was no hotwater in the whole hotel. Nothing was mentioned at check in. Checked our room and it was true. I then spoke to staff and they apologised and said it was being fixed and they called me an hour later (around 9pm) but sadly it was too late for my 4year old to have a bath. I got a bath at 10 at night and it was still not hot. Also large chip out in bath which was unhygienic. The lift also trapped my little girl in lift as the doors closed quickly everytime used. The lifts hadbeen previously out of order so i feel the lifts still were not safe to use. I had paid extra for breakfast which is always great value as kids eat free. Food was good. The cafe sadly was very busy and not many tables. We have stayed in this hotel alot as close to my family& theme parks but I don’t know if we would stay here again.

I would not recommend staying at this Travelodge at all. We traveled to the hotel after travelling and a full day at Legoland. We had two rooms booked, one which had a travel cot booked. My mum had called earlier in the day to confirm this. We asked the receptionist, who was not warm and welcoming, which of the rooms had the cot, to which she replied that there was not one booked. She told us to go to the room and if there wasn’t one they didn’t have any so if there was not one then we could not have one. We head to the room and there was a cot in there. This cot had a double sheet to go over the mattress which is not acceptable. This was far too big for the cot mattress and either was too loose or made a rather large bump under, neither of which are safe conditions for a baby to sleep. This wasn’t the only issue with the cot. On the mesh of the cot was what looked like either blood, poo, or old food stains. At this point, it was late and our 6 month old baby was tired and grumpy so we did not go down to reception as we had also been told they did not have any more available. She slept in the bed with me. When we went down for breakfast the next morning I went to get a high chair for her and these were filthy. The straps were a completely different colour to what they were supposed to be and the tray had food scum still on it. Far beyond what a baby wipe could help. I ended up feeding my baby in her pram. Strong smell of smoke and cannibas in the corridor. On both nights we were woken by someone in the corridor shouting and swearing. After our second night we went down to breakfast and went to complain about the travel cot and we’re met by the response of we should of come down on our first night and that the stain was definitely not there when the cot was placed in there. The staff and manager could not care less and were rude and disinterested in our complaint.

Quite happy to use Travelogde again. The price is very reasonable, let's say I had other members of family paying 3 times as much to stay elsewhere for the same thing, only difference they had an iron and ironing board. I'm sure if I had needed one the staff would have provided it
