We spoke this hotel last minute. It was beyond expectations, clean & located in a accessible environment. However the check-in experience put a bad taste in the mouth, the staffs were chatting & laughing without acknowledging our presence. We stood few minutes before they attended to us. The morning staffs were the opposite, very professional & friendly.

I must admit that I was blown away with the customer service at this hotel. I manage hotels around the country and was on my way down to Eastbourne. There was a closure on the M1 which had resulted in a normal 4 hour journey turning into a 7 hour journey. Needing a stopover, my PA had booked me a room here, whilst knowing that I need an electric charging point. 10 minutes later, I received a telephone call advising me that there was an issue with the booking engine overbooking the hotel. They did advise that they had one room out of order, but it had a crack in the toilet seat. I said that all I needed was a bed, and that really didn’t matter. She also offered me complimentary breakfast. I was extremely impressed that they telephoned to advise me of this and then their 5* customer service. Room was recently refurbished, clean and comfortable. Thank you!

Was going to stay 4 nights but change mind as company changed plans anyway. As soon as I walked into room I could see dust everywhere , nit settled dust but long term dust thick around all floor areas. Presume the vac doesn't do skirting and neither do the cleaners. Shame as I've stayed a few times kn Ramada hotels but this doesn't quite cut it.

Unbelievably bad. I'm so annoyed at the dreadful service from this hotel that I am at a loss where to start. There are other hotels in the area so my advise would be to give this place a swerve.A tent in the car park would be less stressful than dealing with the hotel reception staff.

the staff here are polite, friendly and accommodating. the best asset of this hotel by far. Very clean and appropriate for all our needs. No useable plug sockets under dressing room mirror which was the only negative but it wouldnt stop me staying again. Food was nice enough for hotel standard.

Stayed in a double room as a single occupier at a cost of £69 (excluding breakfast) on Saturday 24th September 2022. The room was lovely, very up to date and spacious, an added bonus was the fantastic shower which. Can often be a problem in some hotels. There is a bar in the hotel and a lovely Pizza Express next door as well as all the usual fast foods joints in the services next door. I didn’t have any noise issues in the room I was in despite being so close the the M25. We left at 4.30 for the Channel Tunnel and there were 2 members of staff on reception even at that time of the morning! All staff, receptionists, cleaners and maintenance men were very polite and welcoming. A great hotel, not just in the budget range but in any range.

Not really that clean for a 3* hotel, not many amenities either. When did hotels stop offering to change towels and bed linen? I would have thought someone would pop in to refresh the tea bags etc. at least. I don't get a discount for booking more then one nights stay so not sure why hotels think it's OK to cheap out on customers.
