Myself and my parents were involved in a serious car accident on the M25 on Friday 26th where the vehicle I was driving got taken out by a lorry. My mother and I got sent to Cobham services in a taxi where we had to wait for my dad and the recovery truck in order to get an Uber together to our destination. After having some food in the service station we decided to go into the hotel to have a drink, relax in a quieter setting and wait my dads arrival On walking into the reception/bar area I asked for a coffee and a glass of lager to which the rude receptionist replied “if you’re not staying here we can’t serve you alcohol”. No apology or anything so I thought ok, we will have two coffees. They then ran out of beans and took 15 mins to return from the services with a bag of Starbucks beans. Our order was for a decaf coffee and a normal coffee. I asked as the worker was pouring the beans if they were decaf (as my mother is intolerant to caffeine) and she replied “we don’t do decaf” to which the other young girl working there said they did. They then exchanged a few words with each other which was embarrassing to be honest. We asked for a refund and the rude lady said she didn’t know how to do it and basically left the young girl to it. She was clearly embarrassed and didn’t know what to say to us. The rude lady then said “we have had a bit of an afternoon” to which I replied “we nearly lost our lives on the M25 we only wanted an area to relax”. She didn’t care. She even told me I couldn’t use the toilet as I wasn’t a resident so I had to go back into the cold and walk to the services to use their facilities. Absolutely disgusting attitude and she should never be working on a front facing reception desk. I’d never stay in a Ramada in the future. If two frightened ladies walked into my hotel after an accident I’d do anything I could to help them. People like this give receptionists a bad name…
Hotel was convenient close as was working in local town leatherhead. After working ahead day the receptionist and barstaff lucinda was always welcoming and quick at serving at nice to help me and the lads with a couple cold beers at night! Great laugh and great company will definitely recommend.

I haven’t stayed here for a couple of years. But I wasn’t disappointed to be back. So, it’s not a luxury hotel. But it’s by far and away the best I’ve stayed in at this price point. Good quality fixtures and fittings and very friendly efficient staff. I didn’t have a look, but it seems they now also have a gym. Booked well in advance and think we paid £50 for x2 nights. For £25 a night this is better than hotels costing 5 times that amount.
My room was spacious, clean and quiet. The people at the reception were lovely and helpful, particularly Carole & Mary. It’s situated on the highway (practical to me) next to a small mall (mcdo, Starbucks, healthy fast-food…), few shops). I would go back!
