I unfortunately stayed at the Cobham lodge on business, the hotel was absolutely shocking. the bed were lumpy, the rooms were dirty, furniture was ancient, the bathroom had mould in the shower and sink, carpets were damp and ripped and to top it all off the breakfast provided was a bowl of out of date cereal and yogurt for £7.00.... I was booked into this establishment. Basics: Floor in bathroom had whole in it, Room window did not close, let alone lock. Carpet was sticky like a pub, Sofa had interesting stains on it Bedsheets had blood stains. If this is acceptable to you then fine, but to me they are just insulting to all that stay.

I booked this hotel for my boss for last Sunday 22nd September 2013 and he has never experienced such a bad hotel with so many good reviews which are by far not true whatsoever. the booking was made with booking.com and they insisted they never got the confirmation at £55 for the night so they decided not only to charge... I did choose this place because it was one of the cheapest in the area but it is located behind a car wash in a car park. It just looks like a concrete block the person on reception was dressed in tracksuit bottoms and gave me a key with no indication of where my room was. There were moths floating... More

The smell on arrival in the car park was horrible. It didn't get any better in the room. Reception was polite, organised and professional. The room smelt, towels had random marks on them, the sofa bed look very used and the mattress was really uncomfortable. The smell was obviously coming from the black stains on the bathroom ceiling. This is... More

While we cannot fault the rooms and service but the car park is absolutely disgusting. There is a temporary carwash set up, when it rained the carpark became a wash with chemicals and rubbish. There is also a distinct smell of urine where the men who work at the carwash have used the bushes as a toilet. It's a real... More

Adequate rooms, shower very powerful, windows need cleaning on all upper floors, found it really noisy at night with traffic, had window open as it has been very warm, which may of contributed to noise, no fan in room, unfortunately massive cycle race going on from London to Surrey, which meant road closure, would of had to park nearly. Mile... More

This is in a posh area so a little more than I would like for a room only but still ok. Friendly reception allowed bikes to be taken into room. Good pub 15 mins walk away. Not much else nearby. Room was clean. Shower powerful! Quiet at night.

This hotel is ideally located to Sandown Racecourse & close to the m25 for ease of access. There's a taxi firm next door and there are restaurants closeby or Esher is the place to go after racing. Has a good variety of bars and restaurants. It is a basic hotel so if looking for luxury this isn't it. Rooms are... More
