My wife and I have just stayed for one night. The welcome was good, the room and it's bathroom beautifully clean and the bed comfortable. The restaurant provided good food and great views to the south.

I had considered this location while planning our Irish Loop self driving trip. As there a few and far between options I called ahead and booked a king room. We arrived to discover our reservation was nonexistent but luckily coming close to low season they had a room for us. After a very blustery day on the road we settled...

We stayed here in June on our travels around NFLD it was nice to have a restaurant and motel in the same place. Our only complaint was the colour of the water. They did tell us about it and gave us bottled water. The owners were very nice.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a night. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant. The seafood chowder was delicious as well as the fish & chips. Staff were friendly and the service was very good.

The Edge of Avalon Inn in Trepassey Nfld, is at the southern edge of the Avalon Peninsula. The Inn has been recently beautifully redecorated with lots of local artwork adorning the walls. The food was exceptional and a reasonable price. Two of the more adventurous of our party had some mechanical problems in a remote area and did not arrive...

Too bad this place doesn't come up under restaurants. This has to rank among the best meal we had in our 10 days drive through Nlfd. Rates for the hotel are reasonable as well. The meal was FANTASTIC! Had the seafood chowder - chunks of fresh shrimp, scallops, clam... Omg good. The Seafood Linguine ("Screetch and Cream" was a huge...

If you want a luxury hotel with sauna, heated tub, and gym, stay in the city. If you want a clean, quiet, comfortable place with friendly staff stay here. It is in the process of modernization and the restaurant has been physically upgraded. Food is seafood oriented and quite good. Our only comments are that the room had no light...

Thanks for your review. We plan to continue updating the rooms in the off-season, so most of the items you suggested regarding the rooms should be taken care of. Glad you enjoyed your stay, hope to see you again.

Sadly, now that the other restaurant in town has burned down in July/16, this is the only place to eat. Sign outside says "Swimming this morning, on your plate this evening". What a joke! Can you believe it - we walked in on a Saturday night at 6 pm to be told "sorry, we are out of fish!". We're in...

Thank you for the review. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience at our Restaurant. There are various circumstances and unexpected events that may lead to shortages in supplies, and distances to those supplies sometimes limit immediate replenishment. That said we do not wish to make excuses, particularly since not all your review is about supplies. We hope to...

I had the best seafood linguine at this Inn. It was so good thst I rate it as my best meal during my visit to Newfoundland. Enjoy the beautiful view from the many windows in the dining room. The service was very efficient and the staff friendly.

What a pleasant surprise to find such a welcoming owner run small hotel in such a remote area at the foggy tip of the Avalon peninsula. Rooms recently renovated with good space and great bed linen. The restuarant produced our first decent meal in Newfoundland after surviving St Johns for a week, well cooked without the obligatory fried fish and...
