Lovely little hotel, run by a young friendly helpful couple, conveniently located in Duino with parking across the street. To get to Triest there are 2 busses. Restaurants and pizzerie close by as well as super market. We'll certainly stay there again if we go back to Trieste.

It was really easy to get to Trieste. We left our car in the free parking lot for the hotel and took the bus. Parking in Trieste would have been a pain. Unfortunately, we missed our bus coming back because we didn't read the schedule well enough, and we got back really late. The next morning we got up early...

What does one wants more than a good bed in a calm and very friendly run little hotel. Thanks Andrea and Africa. We felt home at your Albergo and will come back on the next occasion.

Even though the family run hotel isn't new, the cleanliness and attention to detail is first rate as is the service. Excellent value for money! A place to return!

Our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights in May. The owner was very friendly and made sure we were well cared for. We rented 2 rooms and both were very clean, had sufficient space and were quiet. We enjoyed listening to music in the sitting room, and sat outside in the garden at night and played cards. Breakfast...

Went to Duino and had a great time. We got the local bus from the airport to Duino about 8km and only cost 1.65 euro. We found the hotel easily and was given a really good welcome by the manager and she could speak good english. We were shown to a double on the second floor which was very clean...

We loved this place. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms are very clean, the breakfast was superb, the car parking is just opposite (you have to cross a small quiet street) and internet was working even in the garden in the back of the hotel. Excellent! The most outstanding aspect of the hotel was the staff though. The people...

I was so charmed by this place and the owner that it's caused me to write my very first review! To start off with, the owner actually greeted me at the door and said "Mr. (my last name) ?" .. I don't often make a genuine shocked face but I did this time. She could not have been more pleasant...

This place touts itself as a charming, b&b type property, when it is much more like a youth hostel. We visited during some warmer weather, and paid the price - there was no air conditioning and the owner warned us about enormous mosquitoes if we opened the windows. In the end we were up most the night sweating - given...

Thank you for reviewing Albergo Garnì Aurora. We are always pleased to hear from guests who have enjoyed their stay with us and equally appreciative of guests who take the time to point out areas where we could improve our service. In this case, I would like to make a few observations which I hope may be helpful for future...

Admittedly the place is cheap - and - a good example of getting what you pay for. The hotel is right on a busy street (about the only busy thing in Duino). We arrived at around 1:30 p.m. and were told sternly that we could not get into our room before the check-in time at 2 p.m. Nor could we...
