The furniture in the room makes it like a step back into the 70's of the last century. But the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is ideal for bicyclists as the region has a lot to offer. The restaurant has hardy local cousine and good beers as well.

We only stayed here for 1 night passing through to Austria. Our room was on the top floor and was nice and roomy. We were travelling with friends and they had a problem getting into their room (the last occupant had taken a key to a door where there were 2 rooms behind it which meant that our friends had...

We decided to stay in Tristach rather than Lienz, Austria as a stopping point on our way through the Dolomites. This place was a neat find and Fritz and his wife were excellent hosts. Fritz spoke English very well as did all of his staff.. Der Dolomitenhof has a bar and an excellent restaurant where many locals come to eat....
