It's a hotel I've been going to for many years for work and the truth always ends up satisfied. A few years ago they carried out a comprehensive renovation that has undoubtedly significantly improved it, the rooms are spacious, very clean and modern, as are the bathrooms. Employees are diligent and good professionals. A great option in Sabadell

The Inn is made up of several parts that do not all communicate with each other. A broken down elevator forced us to take another one further.
Hot water out, warm shower not very nice in the morning.
No blanket or duvet, just a thin sheet, awakened by the cold in the middle of the night, I had to use clothes as a blanket Guide.

The only positive is the restaurant part for breakfast... although the wait is a bit long.

In short, to avoid

This was a very good hotel. I had to plan for a last-minute trip to Barcelona for one night, but I hadn't the cash to stay right on Las Ramblas, and all other hotels in Barcelona were sold out (or too expensive). So I chose this hotel in Sabadell which is about 20km north of Barcelona - it was 75 Euros (including taxes and fees) off Expedia. I just stayed on a Monday night in early March 2006.

OK, so the rooms were fine. Comfortable bed, clean room, not too big. Hallways were not noisy. There is a restaurant/bar affiliated with the hotel that is open very late and also very early - just in case you have munchies at odd hours. Also, in the room, there is a small fridge. Hotel staff is accomodating and friendly: The first room they put me in was nice but it was right on top of the main street in town. So it was quite noisy. Therefore, I asked the reception to accomodate me with another room which wasnt off the main road - that was much better - but construction at a building site across the street started at about 7:30am the next morning.

Getting to downtown Barcelona is not bad at all. There are two different train companies you can choose from to get to Barcelona. One's station is walking distance from the hotel and the other, RENFE, has its station at Sabadell Centro which is about a 5 Euro cab ride away. Either trains will take you into Barcelona's Catalunya and Sants stations in 30-40 minutes, and it only costs about 1.50 Euro, which is quite affordable.

To sum up, for 75 euros, this hotel was fine. There are some noise issues outside the hotel to deal with and, yes, location-wise, a daily commute into Barcelona can be cumbersome (especially late night when no trains run), but if I had no other option, I would definitely book a night at this hotel again.

I happened to be in Barcelona on business, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel for party-goers because trains stop running to Sabadell at midnight (I think).

This hotel is just terrible. We arrived there at 11 p.m. We warned them but never received a response from them. As the bar restaurant was open, we asked if we could eat or drink something (we had just arrived from a 17-hour plane trip). This was refused to us (with very little kindness) given the time we arrived. We took possession of the room (so-called luxury) and it was not to our amazement. It was not a large double bed as agreed but 2 beds pushed together and very uncomfortable on top of that. Flat pillows.
The worst, however, remained the dirt that reigned in the room: questionable stains on the armchair, old worn and filthy carpet (we did not dare to walk barefoot), bathtub full of yellowish stains, cockroach in the bathroom, bunks in the rooms. beds.
As the hotel is far from everything, we had to have breakfast there: a tostada with a slice of tomato, a coffee and an orange juice for which we paid almost 10 euros.
We had booked for 4 nights. We fled after the first night and booked another hotel.

Beautiful Hotel located in Sabadell Espana. Highly recommended as this hotel is plush and modern. Very good for the price I would recommend this area of town as plenty of bars and restaurants. There are many decent supermarkets as well that offers great products very fairly priced. Hyperdino etc.

Highly recommended for this part of Espana.

Not what I expected! Definitely not worth the money! It’s too far out from Barcelona city centre 1 hour train journey to get to there. I was really disappointed! graffiti along the corridor of the walls as one room was on the 6th floor. Whilst staying no rooms were cleaned during our stay. one room had a working fridge the other two didn’t. There was no tea or coffee facilities so I was unable to make baby bottles. No travel cot provided which was requested upon booking. it’s not a family hotel staff didn’t know what they where doing and we were advised most of the cleaners can’t read the please clean signs. Roof top pool was closed however when booking I was advised it would be open. Staff complained of my young child making noise at 9pm which to me screams not family orientated. The rooms are also very dated and no way to make formal complaints either. Real disappointment!

Large and renovated room, mattress loved it. New bathroom. Terrace with pool open until 17.30 although I could not use it because it is small and was full of children playing with ball, armchairs for a drink and restaurant.

Good, positive points, welcoming reception, central location, quiet if you take a room on the courtyard side.
Negative points, softness with not even a place to put the soap, the mattress/bed really hard as a stone, pillow better to bring your own but the bad news is the cockroach (and not a small one) at the foot of the bed. And all for almost 100 euros per night, in short I wouldn't come back and it's better to be warned

Very good value Award the rooms are cleaned every day towels changed!
4 single beds for 2 adults and 2 children,
Rooftop pool and restaurant downstairs. There are plenty of free seats on the adjacent streets!

"I liked my top floor corner room facing WxSW. Nice view. Although the ceiling slants towards the window, I found it much nicer overall than other rooms on lower floors with no view. And when the wind blows, ceiling tiles in the bathroom come apart...But who cares?!"
